Of note that although there have been a series of Harry Enfield reactions, some of the best sketches have not been considered I am talking about the brilliant series of The Surgeons ( and especially 40 to 45 years) 😊😊😊😊😊
Hey King Boomer, have seen Mr Graysons and Cholmondley Warners sketch on Conjugal rights… it’s another classic. Keep up the great work guys 👍 Roger (Gloucestershire England)
The problem with that is it's much the same for the first few sketches of that, and only then does he start to vary it, and expand it. It's the Fast Show template. And you need to see them all to get the effect. It's a story that slowly builds. How about Charles & Sheridan? Maybe their compilation, but especially the 40-45 Years sketch.
William Ulsterman, he only did the one sketch. Before watching it look up Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams, different sides of the Northern Ireland spectrum...
Splendid advice Mr Grayson. I met a no-good ruffian only the other day. Gave the scallywag a good cuff round the ear in case he had thoughts of stealing my wristwatch. That taught him a lesson in civility.
One blow of the constable's whistle and a deft whack from his truncheon left the blackguard with something to ponder, I'll be bound.@@arthurennimore-empties6709
Hi King Boomer, great to see your reactions on our stuff over the pond, Harry and Paul are very talented, you probably have...but Harry's sketch as 'Mr Ulsterman' is a fine example of his talent. Subbed.
Love your appreciation of our humour, got to say I'm a big Orioles fan too, since first trip to the States in79. World Series against the Pirates. Lost it but been following them since.
There's one I remember when an upper class English man hit a working class English man and killed him, the defence used in court was "I'm sorry your honour but I was so very intoxicated with alcohol at the time" and he was allowed to go free the judge understood the defence argument totally, it could happen to anyone 😅
"Up-to-no-gooder". One of my all-time favourite lines, anywhere. Have you done the one in the series on mental illness? Watch out for "venomous harridans". You're so sharp, and totally get our dry and subtle and surreal stuff like no other foreigner I've encountered. An absolute top 10 film of mine is Hot Fuzz. I was staggered how your reactions were exactly as mine were, and still are. Nothing important got past you, although second time around you'll see even more. Also, I bet you've realised you beat your friends to the laugh by full tenths of a second. A quick laugher, or not at all, eh? That'd be me too. You appreciate Charlotte Coleman. I think you'll like to privately watch the series Green Wing, Subscribed.
In order to really appreciate the style of film they are parodying, one really should see some REAL public service films from the era. This playlist is a good example: ua-cam.com/play/PLXvkgGofjDzhj97EDaZ2NFBGwBr22ACTJ.html And before you ask, yes, these ARE genuine!
Harry's 'The Palace of Righteous Justice' series of sketches which usually end with: 'hoorah, the day is saved! she-woman cat type thing has coughed up a hairball! hoorah! hoorah!' ua-cam.com/video/xyYrQZ50hQk/v-deo.html
Boomer, you need to do more Reeves and Mortimer they do a lot of surreap sketches in the style of those 1950s public awareness commercials. But as its Vic and Bob, theyre a bit 'out there'
There a comedian I don't think you've reacted to yet called Richard Herring, he used to be in a comedy duo with Stewart Lee who you have reacted to called Lee and Herring, both very funny guys, he has a successful podcast which is also filmed and on YT called 'Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast' and the acronym of it is a running joke every week as it doesn't work, which always makes me chuckle, "Or as the cool kids cool it Rerehellasteppa", a lot of your favourite UK comedians like Greg Davies have been guests, you should have a cheeky little peep in your own time one day just to see what you think.
You sort of enjoyed it..But the British humour in these Mr Cholmondley warner sketches are mainly subtle cultural ones,so,can sometimes be hard to fully appreciate. Like the speech used by the criminal, which is RADA cockney..(posh actors trying to talk lhow they believe the working classes do).."Give us your perishing Lolly"..,as well as class references/the policeman giving the chunky desperado a clip around the ear, which was always a solution to any crime given by people of that generation.
Seeing as you have also got used to Kathy Burke, you should start reacting to 'Gimme Gimme Gimme'. I've seen a few people recommend it to you so obviously loads of people think it's worth you checking it out. If you like Kathy Burke then I think there's a high chance you'l like it. It's also abit smutty like the inbetweeners.
You need to look at a sketch called 'L is for Labour' - hilarious And others have mentioned 'The surgeons', a totally suberb set of sketches! Also, there's a series of sketches under 'Is he a queer?' about 2 apparently homophobic London clubmen who have literally no idea who is or not; also worth a look, Bunny!
@@MickyP2 Ik it sounds ridiculous but if you think about back when umbrealls were made with solid wood and not just flimsy plastic and aluminium, it would suck to get hit with one
These methods are probably more effective than some of the Bullshido seen on YT! Though method 1 is rendered ineffective if the assailant is a desperate Upper-Class Cad & Bounder who has fallen on hard times having frittered the family fortune away in the Casinos of Monte Carlo and the Fleshpots of Paris don't y'know!
Dude you need to watch Buster Keaton if you haven't seen his stuff before. He's the world best stuntman/comedian, his stuff is funny and insanely fucking dangerous its amazing.
Harry Enfield Paul Whitehouse and Cathrine Tate are sorely missed from TV.But I think the BBC are too afraid of this humour in these gender/LBQT times.
Your Majesty. Greetings from the UK. If you like Harry Enfield you will like the Channel 4 show The Windsors in which Harry Enfield plays a spoof version of the then Prince Charles now The King. The show sends up The Royal family and a number of weird scenarios. I hope you can see it in the US. It also has Mr Trump in a parody of himself. Well we think it is a spoof - it could actually be him. Keep up the good work.
Of note that although there have been a series of Harry Enfield reactions, some of the best sketches have not been considered
I am talking about the brilliant series of The Surgeons ( and especially 40 to 45 years) 😊😊😊😊😊
yes! What William said!
Agreed, another acting masterclass from Paul Whitehouse,
Hey King Boomer, have seen Mr Graysons and Cholmondley Warners sketch on Conjugal rights… it’s another classic. Keep up the great work guys 👍 Roger (Gloucestershire England)
You laughing at his reaction after the hypnosis bit literally had me crying for about 5 minutes with laughter, my sides and jaw aches!
Love ya king ❤️
Three things to love about this video: 1):the video itself, 2)y our amusement and joy, and 3), Jane being so cute and well behaved on the bed. 😊😊😊
bless the doggie. lol.
Something more subtle with harry enfield, the polish cafe sketches

I never studied wahakaka but I do have a black belt in Origami. Yes, I did make it myself.
The benefits of simple origami are twofold...
Lol
@@brianswift2706 Nice!
Harry and Paul are legend.
William Ulsterman, he only did the one sketch. Before watching it look up Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams, different sides of the Northern Ireland spectrum...
I have made a peaceful and legitimate request for cheddar cheese and pineapple on a stick!
His accent is on point for both Ian and Gerry 🤣🤣
Splendid advice Mr Grayson.

Good show old bean. I hope you summoned the constabulary to throw the jolly old book at the bounder.

Being from Irish stock you would enjoy William Ulsterman by Harry.
Thanks for reacting to this one 😁😁😁 also You're welcome (i was one of the perps who recomended it)
The best Harry Enfield/Mr Cholmondley-Warner sketch is 'The Conjugal Rights Guide' it's hilarious.

Harry Enfield - TeleCockneys is a must.
Best thing is the dog in the back, so cute

My favourite Harry Enfield skit is the American car sales advert.😂
Check out Harry Enfield and Chums "Mr. Dead".
Another great Harry Enfield sketch is the "2008 Henley Royal Northerner Show."
Tragic that the ubiquitous wearing of hats ended - it'd be nice to see fewer muggings thanks to invoking instinctive deference.
"Up-to-no-gooder". One of my all-time favourite lines, anywhere.

This sketch like a few others by Enfield is a nod to Monty Python.

Harry is a genius. You're not going wrong.
You called it
Green wing please.. it'll have you rolling on the floor
You and QB are on a roll with your predictions (this and the audience believing Jen's speech).
Don't let it go to your heads!

I'm using the umbrella method ☔
The Johnny Cage always works lol.
I recommend the "adopt a geordie" sketch.
The Two Ronnie's name droppers sketch is very funny
Great shirt.
Has 'Men Behaving Badly' been suggested to you? Harry Enfield was in the first season.
Hands, needles, shoes and toes, knees and toes😂 Focusing on the head and shoulders luv 👍
Following on from Harry E you might want to check out some clips from The Fast Show
Please tell me you have watched Vic and Bob. One that made me nearly die was a small advert sketch called `The Reeves and Mortimer Diet Board` :)
Have you done any of the Harry Enfield DRAGONS DEN (Shark tank type of thing) skits? They're great.
Have you looked at Harry and Kathy Burke as Wayne and Waynetta Slob, the UK version of trailer trash. Hilarious.
Love watching an american get our silly humour....try the...women know your place...😅
