I just bought one of these. The problem is that there is no way to prevent the HDD for moving in the case. They have 2milimeters gap to move and put pressure on the power/sta plug

If you have a summer drive it will move. On one side I have a thicker HD red for now and the other side i folded cardboard and stuck it in there until I get another red

What are the HDD temperatures? Also, this "beeping" in every 2 second is really annoying.

Yes mate, just bought one and tested it with my ubuntu. This works with any computer as long as the HDD filesystem is recognised by the OS.
