Between Klaroline and Jayley, all of your favorite ships were discussed. And of course, will Klaus have to die to save Hope? The Originals After Show:
Sometimes you have to form an alliance with the witches in order to reclaim your city. Well, this is at least the case for Klaus and Elijah, former vampire and werewolf hybrids. ABOUT THE ORIGINALS:
The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries which centers around the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). The backdoor pilot, which aired on April 25, 2013, also revealed that the werewolf Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is pregnant with Klaus's child and would, therefore, join the cast. The show begins with the original siblings returning to the city of New Orleans for the first time since 1919. Having originally built the city, they had been forced to flee from their vengeful father. In their absence, Klaus's protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), took charge of the city. Klaus resolves that they must take down Marcel and get back the city that once belonged to them. While doing that they must also protect their city from a war brewing between vampires, werewolves and witches.

IMO, Elijah was the MOST in character this episode. He was vintage TVD Elijah. Bad ass, a little funny and not afraid to get his hands dirty.
PREDICTION-Klaroline is everything! Caroline is NOT going to let Klaus die, her looking back at him....omg foreshadowing! She has a plan, Caroline Forbes ALWAYS has a plan! When Klaroline was in the square talking and he went in to kiss her....go back & look at his reaction to her pulling away, omg heartbreaking! He was so sad! Hope going thru TVD artifacts-epic! Elijah was soooo patient with Hope! "That's a stop sign", loved their scenes throughout! Hope's 'run down' of what happened leading up to her conception-lmao and Elijah's obvious discomfort-hahahaha There is NO way Klaus has had a white oak stake this whole time...it was totally destroyed when Daliah was around. That reminds me, I totally predicted that the twins would siphon the hollow out of Hope & put it in 'someone' who was going to die. Marcel IS the most powerful creature on earth now. Klaus talking Hope thru her transformation-omg precious and she was such a pretty wolf. The next week episode-again go back & watch, right before Klaus goes to stab himself, Hope is at his left and must magically put him to sleep cuz he falls. They'll take him back to the compound and hence the last episode. I'm NOT ready!!!

Ki and Jo didnt look the same age because Jo aged in the regular world and Ki was stuck in the 90s world not aging.
We can’t end Klaus’s story with that almost kiss and then epic sacrifice. It’s not fair to Caroline either. Just when he becomes the dude she hoped he would be. I don’t care if it’s been done...I’d rather see Elijah step in and then find Hayley for that dance they’ve been talking about.
I’m gonna miss this after show so much & the tv show. Can’t believe there’s one episode left. So happy to be apart of this fandom. It’s been a hell of a ride & what they created. Can’t wait for legacies.
This was a great way to make me love Hope before her series premieres
I love how much the twins were just like Caroline in high school. They reminded me of season 1 Caroline!
It's really weird that this series/franchise is doing so many time jumps. WHAT YEAR IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE?!?!?!
Come on u guys have got to cut Alaric some slack he is tryng to protect his daughters. Also I'm sure you remember that there is no love lost between the Mikealsons and certain residents of Mystic Falls Alaric, Bonnie, Damon. Elena etc.

The twins annoyed me too but I was flat-out confused about their powers. I thought Siphoners had to touch in order to drain magic away.
Alaric's reaction was uncalled for. I understand his concern. I even agree with him over Caroline's decision, but that doesn't mean you go shooting someone in the back.
I too wanted more from Jackson this episode. He stood up and sat back down. I was like, "Um, okay..."
Personally, I don't think it follows that Haylay forgives Elijah as she broke up with him last season when he attacked her in his mind, but he pretty much causes her death and she's over it already? Not buying it. Maybe in a few years, but not now.
And I must agree with a lot of people in the chat, I definitely don't think this is the best season.
Marcel was in the beginning of the episode. Speaking of him though, I think he's going to sacrifice himself. Elijah wouldn't work because he's not as powerful as Klaus or Marcel. Plus, Marcel love's Hope and he's all about keeping kids safe, not to mention he's always seen the Mikaelson's as family and sacrificing his self will truly allow him to be seen as family.

I was just saying on another channel that I didn’t think that Caroline was going to let Nicklaus die. She SAW & was moved by his love for Hope. She’s not going to let Hope lose both of her parents. Idk what she’ll do - absorb the magic herself and let her daughters figure out a way or just absorb it and die. But I’m beyond pissed that this is truly the end of the Originals. Binge watching all previous seasons on Netflix just isn’t going to cut it for much longer 😩.
Guess I’ll have to submerge my heart n soul back into bing watching Game of Thrones again on Hulu. 😊💚💜

I’ve been watching all your channels for a while now and I love u guys so much! I feel the same way about Jackson and I was so excited to see him, and not that this matters that much but just to let u guys know Kai and jo looked so far apart in age because kai was trapped in the prison world where he didn’t age, also Julie said that in this episode Josie and Lizzie were 13.

i have a lot of thoughts on the episode that i have yet to unpack but in general i thought this episode was really good, they kind of went back to the way they did the earlier episodes which i really liked. also i'm subscribed so i hope you guys are also doing an aftershow of Legacies :)

Watching this episode, I thought OMG Tiana's prediction might come true with Klaus dying and Elijah being Hope's guardian... but dammit I am ready for Elijah to sacrifice himself! Ah Klaus dying would be so heartbreaking but I do get it, I guess...
I'm gonna be annoyed with the twins already just cause they are like old Caroline, so I gotta used to them but whatever. The klaroline scenes were cute tho.
I loved seeing Hayley again! I miss her so much, everything she said to Hope was lovely, great mother! RIP ♥

Kai wouldn’t look the same age as his twin because he spent years in that magical land place (can’t remember what they called it) - that magical prison. He did not age while he was there.
Serious question how do you make a series centered around hope mikelson where she's in constant danger from future threats possibly and we as an audience are supposed to believe none of her relatives or companions from this show get involved in helping her at some point?how is it possible that a spin off show like legacies is being made and can presented to us as authentic?
The age of the twins threw me off as well, but not in conjunction with each other, but with hope. They both seemed VERY young compared to her. Like, were they even the same actresses from the Legacies trailer??? I need to go back and watch them in this episode and then look at the trailer again. I was so confused when I saw these girls on this episode.

I love the scene where Hope freezes the car at the Timberwolves car wash because it called back to the scene in The Vampire Diaries where Bonnie set someone's car on fire so it was like a fire and ice contrast type of thing!
For whatever reason, I feel like they could’ve picked someone better to play Hope Micaelson. I feel like I could’ve felt a stronger connection to her character if it was someone different. I don’t dislike her I just think they could’ve picked someone better. I feel bad admitting that because I like her as a person and actress - just not Hope Micaelson (did I spell that right? 🤔).
is it selfish of me to think that if it ended last season i would've felt better imagining that.

Caroline lost Stephen, I don't think she's going to allow Klaus to die. (my klaroline heart wants to believe 😭) I think she's gonna put him in a deep sleep and take his body and travel the world looking for a cure for him.

I will be very disappointed if Klaus doesn't die. 1. this show has been mainly his story so it feels fitting for the story to end with his death 2.If he survives the finale it will just feel like a loose end especially going into Legacies 3. (and this one is honestly just me being petty) I really don't want Klaroline to happen because Caroline is my favorite TVD character and I think she deserves so much better than Klaus (and it would piss me off if they killed off Stefan just to force Caroline and Klaus together).

If Klaus dies doesn't the whole blood line of vampires he has turned including caroline will end up dying also?
Dwayne Morgan No Davina broke his sire line in season 3. If you're on his sire line you're safe to live and turn who ever going forward
The only sire line in tack now is Rebecca. When she takes the cure from Damon decades from now and dies a human, her sire line will also be destroyed.
So the only vampires in the world eventually will be kalus' sire line and Hope's sire line.
I hope the intro song for next weeks after show is "cry little sister" from the lost boys movie considering thats argueably my favorite vampire movie and that song would fit perfectly for the final aftershow of the originals condering they have the same dark gothic horror tone
