Sometimes you have to form an alliance with the witches in order to reclaim your city. Well, this is at least the case for Klaus and Elijah, former vampire and werewolf hybrids. ABOUT THE ORIGINALS:
The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries which centers around the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). The backdoor pilot, which aired on April 25, 2013, also revealed that the werewolf Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is pregnant with Klaus's child and would, therefore, join the cast. The show begins with the original siblings returning to the city of New Orleans for the first time since 1919. Having originally built the city, they had been forced to flee from their vengeful father. In their absence, Klaus's protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), took charge of the city. Klaus resolves that they must take down Marcel and get back the city that once belonged to them. While doing that they must also protect their city from a war brewing between vampires, werewolves and witches.

Freya was like oh i'm so sad about Josh, lets get married!! dang, we didn't get a Josh funeral, we didn't see Davina find out about josh. just a disappointing episode in general.
Agree. It was such a pointless filler kind of episode.
Mehak Siddiqui right! Maybe josh should have died an episode earlier so they could deal with that better or canceled the wedding idk. This was just all over the place. It’s like it was purely a set up for legacies or the death of Elijah.

Doesn’t it feel like Klaus and Elijah are going to sacrifice for hope.. I feel it in my bones!!!! And plus I read a rumour! So be prepared ladies!
Especially in the last scene with Klaus and Hope talking about how she's glad Klaus will be there the first time she turns. I think Klaus is going to trade his life for Hope's for sure.

In fairness Freya just said Klaus was getting a venue, she might not have known how he got it. Also I think now more than ever was the perfect time for a wedding. They all needed some happiness in their lives right now, especially Hope who has gone through so much shit and is about to go through a lot more.

Finally!!!!! I have binged every ep of your after show and had to listen to the panel DISPARAGE or flat out dismiss and ignore Halijah! And why?? They are the most intense ship in all of the VDU, spanning 15 years!! To hear you gals admit that the are end game means everything to my Halijah heart. And i know noone will see this comment but I just had to say something.
I’m subscriber to all the afterbuzz channels!!! I love you guys so much, I’ve been watching you guys for like four years now. I watched all three of you guys on the TVD aftershow, and I watched the once upon a time panel back when roxy and tiana were on it. And Sam I watch every week for the RIVERDALE panel! Anyway I love these after shows so much and so sad to see the originals after shows come to an end. hopefully you three will do the legacies aftershow 🤞

To be honest, I thought this episode had some important events, but it was boring and a little redundant. When I say redundant, I'm referring to how Davina had to tell Marcel he was doing things so wrong with New Orleans but I recall Josh telling him the same thing when he compared Marcel to Emmett. Also, I want to point out that Elijah did mention he did research on the Original family so why didn't he know who Hailey/Andrea was when he met her at the bar?
The plot didn't move forward enough for me and The Hollow being in Hope killing her now when last season she was just super powerful is making no sense to me. And I found it to be out of Klaus' character to not do anything when he just found out his daughter is dying. Like, whenever she was in danger before, when did he ever just sit back to relax?

They can adopt a supernatural child - a wolf baby or witch baby. So may people die in this world that I am sure there are plenty of supernatural orphans out there
I really think Elijah is going to trade his life for hope bc he owes this to hayley & plus he will be with hayley in the afterlife, i don't see why everybody's saying Klaus will do that when elijah's death is confirmed by all those "another dance in another life" mentions
I'm going to go with your theory also, I can't see Plec having a Legacies series with any potential without one of Hopes parents to exist. But then again, on more thoughts, Elijah could move on with his marriage to that other Vampire and promise to always protect Hope, and Klaus ultimately being the sacrifice would make a lot sense also.

that's what's confusing because when witches turn into vampires they lose their witch side/powers.
SweenyTodd98 yeah but Hope is all a whole different thing. She might keep her magic. She is a loophole. Personally I think it would be a waste to get rid of her magic. I want to see her be all 3.
