I mean it's definitely expected for Hololive. Similarly, I would expect luxiem viewers to be 90%+ girls. I think the most balanced in terms of gender would be either a holostars member or a NijiEN female member.
I do think that Sui-chan got lots of female viewer tho, and a lot of dedicated one at that. We have Yuna and other channel who can provide some info that's not available on UA-cam, and also other vtubers who said they're fans of Sui-chan (some got quite amazing cover of Sui-chan's original)
well usually female are standing out in most communities like idol fanbase or MMO players such as guild leader, or involving themselves in projects for idol birthday or anniversary. Even if their number is not that high, they are very influential and outspoken. Glad to know that female fans are rising up in number for both Hololive and Nijisanji.
3:45 Maybe I'm wrong, but I hear "夢女です", as a contraction of "夢女子", so is it possible Suisei is saying she sees a lot of self-declared yumejoshi fans of her on Twitter? I don't know if it's common to refer to oneself as a yumejoshi in Japan, or even if yumejo is a common contraction, though.
I’m wondering, does the graph where she read that 10% of her viewers are female also include a stat for people who did not set their gender? Example: 10% female, 30% male, 5% other, 55% “prefer not to say”?
Theory: what if the reason they seem to have so many female fans is that they just have a lot of female gachikois, and that these are more fanatical and visible than non-gachikois?
I'm a little surprised Toko-tan didn't refer to her fellow Sanbaka member Anju - given that she's got the whole low-voiced ikemen thing going on I'd expect her to have a lot of female fans too.

Pointing a gun at Sui-chan is DEFINITELY NOT a good idea

suisei is only 10%? that's surprising
@@ーーーーーーーーーーーーー-o2p oh yeah i forgot its from the voting lol tnx for clarifying
That 10% seems a bit low but it's crazy to think it's still 150k people, many more subs than most vtubers and youtubers in general
I thought her female viewers’ percentage would be higher but then I remembered there’re are A LOT of dudes down bad for Sui-chan

yeah, she defo has more, her sololive audience was like 30% female

In general, female has higher ratio of dedicated fans vs casual fans than males

"Gender is only a decoration." - Yes, but do the Christmas ornaments hang high or low?
