    Shipmate in yellow flight ops vest was Robert Hurtado, no longer with us. RIP!! I will never forget my time on the Wisconsin.

    This was during the first gulf war with Helicopter Minesweeping Squadron 14, while we prepped in Abu Dhabi for sweeping the northern part of the Persian Gulf. I think we all cashed checks onboard the Mighty Wisconsin when she pulled into port. Good times Richard.

      It was. And I believe 542 is the one that went in not long ago. I cashed a check on her deck too. 542 is the first helo I rode on too. Went to Dubai.
