When Colbert said “you kind of look like you in The Holiday” talking about his haircut, I had to laugh because I realized the reason I had clicked on this video 😂 My subconscious was running the show. That crush of him in the Holiday never go away.
@@Chichi-ld1eoA. I. is such a good film. When I first saw it, I thought it a bit slow. But immediately after I watched it, I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Here’s a question I’ve had for a while: when an interview is broken up into segments, would it be too much to ask for them to be titled with “part 1, etc” or something like that? It’s not the order they’re uploaded in, either. Not the end of the world, but I find it a bit frustrating.
They really should do that, but until they do: a good rule of thumb is to go by runtime length in decreasing order. It's not always in that order, but it usually is.
I love how Brit actors always their acting roles a "job" - and they can easily still be method acting and bounce in and out of their roles because it's a "job". American actors tend to put a sense of reverence into their acting roles and become beholden to them.
I mean. Heath Ledger was British, Daniel Day Lewis is British. I think they both do both because people are individuals. EDIT: My bad, Heath Ledger was Australian. But the point was he wasn’t American.
That’ll be because outside of like 4 soap operas, unless you’re in a rep theatre company, you’re only ever doing a maximum of 6 or 12 episodes of anything a year if you’ve got a regular role, so you’re always going to be fitting in multiple jobs a year
Someone needs to do a film with him and his son playing a person at different stages of life at some point because his son is a spitting image of him when he was younger.
My favorite roles of Jude's are: the gigalo in A.I, Graham in The Holiday, and Watson in Sherlock. And for years I thought he was Jarvis cuz Paul Bettany sounded so much like him in that film.
My favorite Jude Law movie was also one of his first, I'm sure. I watched it recently. It's called Music From Another Room, and he looks like a baby giraffe almost, all limbs and skinny, long neck. It's a very sweet rom-com though that came out in '98, I believe. This was a fun interview!!
Whether felons can differs by state law. For example, as a Florida resident #45* will be able to vote as long as he's not actively incarcerated at the time (which in NY law - Florida follows the law in the state where the person was convicted)
Honestly, don’t we have enough nepotism babies in show business? People work so hard to just to get an audition and some star just puts their kid in the show is disheartening at the least.

I love the British accent but there is something about his voice and the way he speaks that I always have loved.
Jude is just a lovely respectful man and just a joy to watch. Great interview by Stephen as always!❤
I love Jude. I love when you have someone really great on, and you dedicate the entire show to them. The Holiday and Sherlock Holmes are my favorites.
AI too.

@@QuarterLifeCrisesGood tip. Thanks!
Oh please, please, please do a Jude Law Colbert Questionnaire!!!
Jude Law also starts to look as a Bond candidate... or villain. He can play 'm all.
I love Jude Law especially in the Holiday.
Jude was born for acting
New respect for you, Jude! Thank you!
@@MattFeinstein38 you must have missed when I said; new respect. People can change for the better.
@@MattFeinstein38 oh dear! Was she your girlfriend to be so invested in someone else's sex life from over 20 years ago? Therapy might help you.

Hey, Jude, you are fabulous and so down to earth.
I read once that Jude is the staff's favorite guest on the Colbert show, and one of Stephen's faves too.

I love how he talks about his son. He seems like a good dad.
In this interview he mentioned the interview that I watched that led me to this interview 😅

The Jude stuff has been weird but in the end he’s taken responsibility for the kids that are his and they appear to love him.
Jude i have addressed most of what I could and now .... these spoutings of harm come towards me like rapid fire
Jude Law looks like Phil Collins. they're both English/British.
Amazingly good looking for a Man his age ...😊. Just my opinion
