We live in the UK. My daughter has vulvodynia and is often in constant pain. She’s seen just about every Consultant in London for it….but so far only has temporary relief from the symptoms. I’m really very concerned for her. She is beginning to despair….

I'm so happy that this is being researched! I was diagnosed with vulvar vestibulitis a week ago. Luckily I do have a doctor that knew immediately what it was. He put me on Singulair and gave me Lidocaine. However, I do have a question. The Singulair doesn't seem to be working yet. I knew it would take a little bit, but how long should I give it before I try something else?

Taylor Sturtevant. I was also diagnosed with this condition and I also tried different creams, one was the one your using and it didn't do much for me and so my doctor made a special cream like a compound cream made in special pharmacy and that was veery expensive. It worked 100% however I wasn't allowed to get pregnant on it. so I looked for a more natural way to heal myself and I found vulva physical therapy , I didn't see how it would work. however my doctor strongly recommended it so I started the sessions after less then 10 sessions I was good to go. the lady did wonders. Its definitely worth looking into. it can be the solution to your problem I wish you the best of luck!

@@jeanluby4636 I went to a pelvic floor therapist and she massages the area that needs care, they do different things depending on what the problem is. For vulva vestibulities I just needed to desensitize that area with a lot of massages from her for me that did the trick, for others they might need more then that to work, but a good one should be able to help you
