For me, when I connected my ps5 to wifi through an extender (TP link) that’s when the problems started. I just switched off the PlayStation, switched off the network and the put on my ps5 and forgot the network and connected via Ethernet and it worked for me. I saw the suggestion in some comment reply can’t remember so just sharing this here

Is there a way to turn it from Rest Mode to simply turning it off? I hate that if I place the console into Rest Mode (just to charge the controller up a bit before wanting to turn the system off entirely), the I then have to turn the tv on hours later, use the controller to wake up the PS5, then turn it off!
