Do one on a 2012 chevy impala 9c1 police package 3.6 I'll wait
Whatever. go away
I want a SHO so bad. I'd punt a 2 month old for one
😂
I got one for sell 😂😂
Damn 🤣
@@bghybghy1Where you located? & How much?? Get @ Me, Sir
I'll get you a baby to punt. I wanna see this . I'll even hold him "laces out" 😂
I have a 2010, surprises quite a few people at the light, a sleeper for sure.
Facts lol I have one and I feel when I get behind people especially at night time, they drive as if I’m the police and even when I didn’t have one I used to think the same about people in a Ford Taurus 😂
Can you do one on how to get more hp
Sho been terrorizing for 30 years now
Ummmmm...no😂
Ecoboost baby!! 💪 Never forget that its the same engines in some mustangs and the Ford GT. It has won championships in various race series.
Ecobeast
Which Mustang comes with a 3.5L twin turbo engine?
Nobody talks about the Flex LTD tho. Same engine, Awd. Fast asf.
The 2015 ,16,17 Chevrolet caprice cop car has just entered the chat with 6.0 rear wheel drive
Not as comfortable. definitely capable of going faster but you’d need to open the motor to do so.
@@MrSlimeMan01 dude that's no hard to do. cam is al u need
@@TheRealZJE313 a cam, turbo kit, injectors, and probably a few other supporting mods too. as opposed to just flashing a tune. Like I said, definitely faster but just a little bit more difficult to do than just turning up some boost.
I have one. 2013. Cammed. 401rwhp
@@MrSlimeMan01i own one. A cammed one. You arent winning this argument bro.
Until the internal waterpump goes out and you have 3800 pound paper weight sitting in the yard😂
Facts…..
All that ingenuity and put the water pump inside the engine
They weigh 4,400 plus. I own two. Highest mileage one went to 145,000 miles before water pump went, and it did it right, went out the weep hole. Got lucky, but also being internal, it's nice to get an all new timing set. Other than that, they are tanks.
Only spent $1000 on mine but ig it depends where you take it
@@Limited-uq2yk Depends alot too on what all they replace while in there. I spent the money, could have done it myself, but sometimes it's nice to spend more and get the insurance that if it goes wrong someone else is paying for it. Plus a 3yr/36,000 mile warranty for the work.
Happened to my lil relatives car
The owner's son at the Ford dealer I worked at had one. He got it tuned, hit a tree, died, then was revived several times. This story has a happy ending, he's alive, well, and prospering.
I love that car , I swear ford doesn't get the credit they deserve 💯💯💯
Reliability is ehhh but I'm begging to like ford a little
The old SHO would run!!!!
The ones back in the day with the v8 were nasty.
I had 2 of them both were 1993s but my 1st one was automatic and never knew anything about these cars till I bout that one. wrecked it loved it so much I bought a 93 5-speed from a guy about 2-3 years later. Both cars had damn good power plus popping the hood I would ALWAYS get a "WOW" lol
@@FilthyMcFly1983If I find one in any condition, I’m buying. It’s one of the cars I wish I had growing up.
@@stephenjohnson1318 I dont think you would regret it at all my friend. Super fun cars!
@FilthyMcFly1983 yes the v6 was much faster
That Yamaha tho
You ain't lying. My mom had one back in the day. Merging on to the highway was fun as hell.
When Ford wants to make a car, They make a car! LOL
I miss the days when V6 engines got absolutely no respect at all 😂. Those were the days.
When v8's got 250hp. Ya those were great times...
Most police are not driving the twin turbo models, they're using the n/a v6.
Right, my PD is super spoiled as all of our Taurus PIs and Explorers are Ecoboost and all of our Chargers are Hemis. I had a nice 5.7 2013 til some dumb ass hit me head on now I got a 22’ Explorer with 400hp. Every other PD around us, even county (PGPD) and MSP got the NA 3.7 engines and ppl constantly run from them (Infinity Q / Gs, Mopars, stolen Hyundai/Kias lol). The newer Explorers are way better
V6 chargers here and Tahoes, and the Tahoes are faster lol
Aurora Colorado PD gave those up because cops kept wrecking it and the 6.2 L caprice. Now they run rst tahoes. Fast as finuck.
Had a cop in my hometown pull me over and then told me to shut off the engine. I pointed at his Tahoe, then pointed at the V and said, "If I was gonna run, I'd be gone."🤣
Pardon the lat response but I read several of your comments regarding the fotd taurus sho. I'm currently looking at 2. A 2010 and 2013 because I read that they were the most reliable. My question is do you know what I would need to do to achieve the 450hp for the taurus? The content creator spoke on it but didnt say what was needed. Ty in advance
Actually, the best part about buying the PPV model, the 2 front doors have kevlar in them. Facts.
I have a 2018 Taurus, best car I have ever owned, still kicking with 150k miles never been in the shop for any problems either
I can confirm. I’m making 539awhp. These are better than any dodge
Any Dodge? Wild statement.. 😂

@@untouchabledriver87 I eat Cats. I eat 392s. I eat Jeeps. I eat hawks. What more you need
@@kaighSea nah. Cats can’t hook. Hawks are too big. SRTs are too little hp n 392s are pathetic
@therussiancarman2584 what more I need? I was looking for proof on your page. Link me to a video?
I had a black 2016 SHO. Performance Package and it had all the toys. I quickly realized that I could show up on any street and make everyone in traffic drive the speed limit. It was toooo funny!!
As the proud owner of a 2016 SHO, I can attest fully that these things are a force to be reckoned with. They may not be Audi RS or BMW M fast, but they are swift as heck. Plus, they look innocent.
What about the maintenance issues and the cramped interior with bad visibility 😢
@@johnblack4915 cramped interior? I haven’t experienced an issue. Reliability? Who cares! And bad visibility? Never had an issue, aside from the high window sills.
@jfsiiiautomotivereviews8343 well I had one im tall so it was like sitting on a couch lol..visibility was ok as long u had Blis to save you lol
@@johnblack4915 I recently bought one. I'm 6'2 300lbs. And I'm a little cramped but it's actually a nice ride. And the torque kicks in quickly.
And it's the result of car companies working both sides of the fence😂
One of my favorite sleepers and Iv owned a couple , the problem is they have issues and none of the issues are minor fixes , the internal water pump which requires a timing chain Job which is basically a engine removal job and what’s worse is that they go bad all the time , they also have timing problems and also blowing smoke out the exhaust when one of turbos go bad and is super common, I wish they were more reliable and didn’t have so many major issues
I had a 3.5 ecoboost in my MKS they’re fun but heavy
Giraffe 🦒, "gurll they put me in first class, flew me out, ill call u wen i get off this plane"
The police cursors are generally 3.7 naturally aspirated V6s. Very rare to find one thays a cursor and a SHO
By far one of the best cars I had in a long time just enjoy driving it apart of me mad they cancel them 😅
Nah white ford explorers always trick me into thinking it’s a cop especially when it has explorer written across the front 😂
One of my dream cars but I was too young to afford one in high school. And now everyone knows about them.
I can spot a cop from 10 kilometers away.
Facts, I use to work at the Ford Taurus plant and got to drive the SHOs and MKS ecos early. They are fast asf
I have a '12 MKS w/ecoboost. It's a menace......
Loved this car since the first time I seen one
Just totaled mine recently too. Tuned with downpipes that thing was still spinning tires at launch.
Actually they drove the police interceptor trim which just had the ecoboost and no turbos
2017 with a true 50/50 AWD twin 56mm precision turbos titanium charge pipes direct methanol injection straight into the intake custom intercooler & a stage lll Livernois tune 520/610 to the wheels.
I either had people pulling up to the red light asking what the fuck i was driving or they were hitting the very first exit.
The one car i truly regret getting rid of
That sounds like a hot librarian fr…
A friend of mine had one, he did a tune, down pipes, intake, and meth injection. That car was fun.
I subscribed cause dis nigga so funny wat ever ya goin thru n life dis dude like therapy for it 😂😂
With a couple light bolt on, you can easily enter 500-600 HP on a budget
A 2015 Ford Taurus sho is the car I learned to drive in, I remember the day I made my learners it was nothin but a big smile on my face the whole way home.
Had a random encounter with one on the highway in Mexico, I was doing 120 something and this car blows past me like i was sitting still. I was fuckin baffled lmfao
Owned one. Internet makes it sound like a better car than it is
My homeboy has one it shits and gets fss frfr they really iike that. Its like having a very nice sleeper.. That none expects!
Everything about this is true. I had a 98 model, and it was crazy fast.
I had an 89. Still have a picture in my wallet of her. ❤❤❤
Even the base model is relatively fast. 285 hp and a lot of torque.
My cousin has one that shit is the shit it comes with the little eco-boost in it that the transit vans come with holy shit dude it’s so nice
I had a Ford Contour v6 and loved it. I build race engines so I know a good from bad engine. It was peppy and unshakable. It had the bones for building a good race motor. No dyno#, just a seat of the pants feeling. I was getting ready to trash the car, but ended up driving for a couple of years. I should have kept the motor.
My man said higher than a giraffe couchie on a delta first class flight airline too wild 😂😂😂😂
That’s… that’s actually a pretty good analogy
1 major flaw in this vehicle the water pump is located in the block so when it inevitably fails it fills you block with anti freeze cause your engine to seize and explode
I had a 2002 Taurus sho when I was about 17/18. Didn’t even know what I had till after. I had got it because I just needed a car and a few friends of mine had started a small dealer. So I got a good price on it. Was definitely a fast car.
SHO stands for super high output. If I'm not mistaken it started showing up in 86 where they were experimenting what to put the SHO engine into. I have a mustang, and I had to put a little elbow grease into beating one of these once. Still got'em but I was surprised 😂😂😂
Underrated cars are usually overlooked. The blackcarguru ain’t lying. Ford Taurus Sho are unnaturally fast
I've never seen a cop in a SHO. I've seen them in the NA V6, but not a SHO. Here in Florida, FHP has SRT-8 Challengers now. Saw one yesterday.
This was fords answer to GMs Pontiac GTO sedan
While in Australia they had the bara Falcon vs GM holden comodore
Actually, they don’t drive a ShO, the police package is completely different whereas it has a 3.7 litre eco boost non turbo vs the SHO with a 3.5
When did they switch from the awd four cyl turbos? I didnt know they switched em.
