- In this video we go over five reasons why you're not seeing bucks while you're out there deer hunting. We all know why we're out there hunting. Sure it's nice to see does and young bucks, get some meat in the freezer, but we all want to see a buck worth hanging on the wall. Or at least bragging about. Sometimes it seems like no matter what we do we can't find the big bucks.

I had a weak rut on my SW PA land, a 3 pt shadowed an 8 point throughout the whole rut and beyond, saw chasing but no isolated pairing well into the 2nd week of November. The strangest thing was I observed, the same Doe's with fawns appeared to never separate or come into heat. Almost like there was a lack of breeding going on. And to top it off, even stranger yet I saw a friggin live Toad on Dec 2 in my woods. The deer on this parcel are extremely wary compared to the deer around my home, hunting on the ground, even with a favorable wind was next level, top tier difficult. Though motionless and well soaked in scent block, I got picked off repeatedly in full Camo-face covered as well, by both deer and turkey. All I have to show for my efforts are 2 Deer Tick bites and a positive test for Lyme. They just knew I was in their house and was noted as something that was not seen daily in those particular spots. Archery from the ground without a blind is a Master grade of difficulty. And, no I did not hunt the same spot repeatedly. It's truly a next level unforgiving challenge., but I have taken enough deer in my 5 decades of hunting that I welcome an even playing field of pursuit. IMO anything more progressive in technology than cover scent, a grunt call and rattling antlers has ruined the art of the hunt, Blinds, range finders, Ozone emitters, electronic calls, trail cameras and most irritating of all, Quads, the tool of the laziest fux of all hunting crutches, bar none, have all but murdered the spirit of the art of the hunt. It's just clever marketing to keep a diminishing sport alive, which translates to just more pussification, and testicle shriveling of the American spirit. Long live the Fred Bears and Chuck Adams spirits! Real men, real hunters...
I’ve been experiencing the same thing went to Pennsylvania a week ago only saw one deer on stand, and I hunted from sunset to sundown.
I have not seen any rutting going on this has been a very weird November. I have asked around locally and many people have been saying the same thing where have these bucks gone
Doe as well. I only saw two turkey.
@@Dabbo_007 so weird.. I had seven shooter bucks on my property and they all have disappeared. I have not seen them for over a month.

I didn't see anything but two turkey opening weekend on my land. The week prior had nothing either. Any idea were they could of gone to
