I found it funny that when the lyrics talked about being bound by the bloody entrails of his children you guys were still just rocking out and smiling but when it talked about snake venom blinding him you guys suddenly looked shocked lol.

About the serpent, according to the Eddas it's not a tapeworm but Loki got pregnant after eating the burning heart of the Jotun witch Gullveig/Angrboda and delivered a serpent in a lake as the result of that. In the same way he got pregnant and delivered the wolf Fenrir and other wolves. So he is both their father and in some sense their mother because he gave birth to them, ability that he acquired while in Jotunheim thanks to the spells his lover, the witch Gullveig/Angrboda cast on him which gave him this ability in case she got killed (which happened twice with her body then burned in a pyre by the Aesir)

I have visited many concerts from this band an from In Extremo a lot of years ago. One member of "In Extremo" called Pfeiffer was killed by German police at a protest last year. We are no happy people here, you know... not anymore. Well, he had a sudden heart attack after five police officers used him as trampolin, he was not the first and will be not the last.
