i don't understand why NS has their passenger cars in that gorgeous red, black, and gold, but all of their standard freight units are that black and white. I think the black and white looks spectacular on those Fs paired with the red coaches, but i wish that they kept company colors standard and not just black and white.
Norfolk Southern executives and special guests...although I believe this was just a move to turn the train in the right direction, so just the crew and other assigned employees.
They must've had a sale at Observation Cars R Us or something. Nice consist, particularly with the F units.
The NS locomotives look great; only thing better would be a set of PRR Tuscan Reds . . .
Dangit! You kids better behave or I'm going to turn this train around and head straight back home!
I've seen it live on Tuesday for the first time and I gotta say, that F9 ABBA going up the curve was one of sexiest sounds I've heard
That's how a true EMD sounds like :)
Was fortunate enuff to catch that live (both times) and nice to see that others can share that experience.
Those f units are incredible to the eye
Beautiful classic train, thanks for sharing,
This is sooooo cool! Beautiful.

Looking into the windows, the train was empty!

This passenger consist has alot of end cars than actual coaches.
