At approx 10:29 when you show the typical bracing connection, it seems that the axis of say the BR(e25) 75x75x8 EA is located centrally (37.5mm from the edge) whereas depending on the supplier, the neutral axis is usually 22.7mm from the 'web'.
In your experience,
a. should we be using the actual 22.7mm one as opposed to the 37.5mm one? I'm guessing you used the central one because to ease workmanship during assembly.
b. does it make much of a difference? I am assuming the main difference would be eccentricities on the column.

Good question. Typically I align with the bolts, which is where the load path is going through. I would locate them centrally to the leg of the EA. Have a look at AS4100 Tension Design. It already accounts for eccentricity by using Kt factor.

hey mate, you can earn more or you can earn less. It will depend on your experience and field.
