My step dad Tom taught me to drive in this truck… I have so many memories of it. I took my drivers test in this truck and aced it! I love this truck and have missed it looking around the web to maybe buy it again. This exact model year and color. Absolutely love it. So good to see it again.
That's a super clean looking truck. I've become enamored with the minimalist look of the Ford 300. Matter of fact I'm going to do a rebuild one this year. It will be my first I6 effort.
I had one exactly like this a couple years back. A lot rougher shape but it was a tank nonetheless. This makes me miss mine so bad. Thanks for sharing!
Love that model 150. It's what a pickup should look like...inside and out. Absolute classic to my mind and not one solitary hint of tack or bling. Not many around in the UK though ...in any condition, never mind beauts like that one, or the others you have had on your channel.
She’s a beauty I have almost the same truck but mines a 95 6cyl. Eddie Bauer 5 speed same color as this one with the white and Arizona beige and everything same goes for the interior my interior isn’t as clean as this one but it is stock. Love these old trucks
wheres "here" for you? I'm looking at one on the Western Shore of Maryland, 1996 f150 4x4 automatic. It has 80k miles on it. Really great condition, the person is asking 5k
It was also the last year for the chassis. This is twin i beam. The replacement has a whole new chassis with a arms! No where near as strong as the twin i beam suspension. This was the last year for 4.9 300,5.0 302 ,and 5.8 351w
My 1997 F-150 XLT has 125,000 miles. That 4.6 V8 will make you disappear in my rear view mirror fast. She's the prettiest F-150 made. Nevada truck with body and paint like new. That's a great truck too!
It's kinda funny they'd show the 1997 in the brochure. Might have made some new 96 owners mad.🤣. I do love this bodystyle though (along with the Broncos).
My brother has one like that but not the optioned out version. Same engine and 5 speed, icy cold original air conditioning, no Freon ever added, everything works just like new and looks just like new. I have TRIED to separate him from that truck. Not happening. His has a few more miles, about 150,000, but for that old engine it's hardly broken in. The ONLY bad point is the fuel mileage. That great torque everyone talks about is partly the rear end ratio. A low ratio gives you great towing ability, but the RPMs tend higher at speed so mileage suffers. I can live with that.
i guess there rare in what part of the country your in, but where i live in n.e. la. theres more than a few eddies with 300s still runnin around lookin just as good as that one. Stripped one down not too long a go for parts for my 94.
@@zacharywilliams3631 you said that you had one blue just like the white one. My dad had the moon light blue one like yours and I've been looking for one with those exact wheels, inline 6, and 5speed transmission. I just got to have one orginal to have one in my drive way.
And here i was thinking that only the XLTS 93 thru 96 were had the chrome grill and chrome headlight bezels chrome bumper front and rear and chrome trim around the wheel openings and the stainless steel finish panes on the tailgate?
It says h9 trying to research it but there seems to be some different ratios mine is a 10 Bolt and I'm trying to figure out what ratio rear end I have again it's a 300 6 cylinder straight with a 5-speed and the Eddie Bauer edition just trying to figure out the rear end ratio

the newest ford truck i would own.ford lost their minds shortly afterward.profit replaced quality as job1.& the quality avalanched into the gutters in a decade.
Javier Villanueva no, it was sold one week ago. Once an eBay buyer sees the video, they are confident on buying what I’m showing. This one went to a dealer in the east coast who has a local clientele very interested in this type of trucks
You should look @ a Dodge also. I ordered a 95 Dakota back in 95 with 3.9 liter Magnum V6 (it drives lie a small V8 unless you are on a long climb or at high-altitude) bucket seats, 5 spd, 3.55 ratio anti-spin axle, cruise control & of course AC. Bucket seats are very comfortable, still after 25 years, much more so than the 4.2 L xl trim F-150 4x4 I bought 2 yrs ago. Bench seat in that truck was TERRIBLE!! only worse seat I've ever sat in was the back seat of my bro's 2007 pathfinder-guaranteed to give you a backache after 45 minutes. took the Dakota out to Palm Desert, CA in Feb '20 from Seal Beach, CA @ 70 all the way & still got almost 21 mpg with 155K on the clock. AC has gone out so I am going to use an evap cooler for the AC. $632 vs $75 -($30 for an AC power inverter & 45 for an artic air evap cooler). Check out a Dakota or Ram also.

Wow that’s a hell of a nice looking truck those 300 I6 4.9L were the best gas engines that Ford made
Thank for your help and advices you have a really beautifull pick up, nice and clean.
I've seen this video a few times and never get tired of wathing that truck.
Great engine. Tons of torque
Man thats one beautiful 96 F150 brother.
