Thanks, Yama, for the look around Fort Point and the GG Bridge. It's been a long time since I was there with my wife, Barb (RIP). We rode over to SF a few times, but mostly to Sacramento, Morro Bay and Bodega. Great guys, great bikes and great scenery. Ride safe -- W in Cleveland, OH.
I used to love riding up Hwy 1 then cut in on Hwy 128, stop at BoonVille for a beer and a bite to eat, Hwy101, 175, Lake Port, Middle Town, Hwy 29 , 37, 101 and back home to The City. I used to ride a sport bike so it was easy to do the loop in one long day ride. My other was to go down 1 and cut in at Morro Bay an ride back home on 101.
I know I've commented this on other videos, but just gotta make sure you know these videos are appreciated! Best vibe to put on in the garage while wrenching on bikes and cars, and gets me excited for the next moto trip. Awesome music, editing, etc. good shit.
Your video makes me wish I was young again and looking forward all the time to get out and go camping. I have such great memories of camping trips in places all over.
Another awesome video! Always making me itch to hit the road with the buddies. Always dig the tunes as well. Try some pull back risers with whatever taller bars you try out. Of course if you add longer tubes you'll want to bring your sissy bar forward on the fender mount location otherwise nothing will really change there as far as being able to lean back into your pack.
Yep I'm thinking pull-backs too. Not radical goofy ones, just enough to get the seating position right. I'd not rake the sissy bar any further forward, that would look goofy. :) I think the forks are just right, needs a little less rubber on the front. (for handling, I like the look)
The trip looked fun and the music rocked. Longer forks with taller bars are a solid choice if you go that route. I love the 1987 time stamp on the photos. Gives a n ol'skool vibe. IYKYK
Have you heard of Dexter and the Moonrocks, they're a local band from my area. Their music seems like it would fit the vibe you're looking for super cool dudes.
Hey good ride, wish I was there. At the end you mentioned something about your bars, and handling in the corners, or left turns, ?. Anyhow, some pullbacks would look good on the bike, and let you set back a bit. On handling, I know it would change the look of the bike quite a bit, but take it from an OG, a 190-19" gives the best handling, in my experience. I'm a cornering junkie, I like the corners and curves, and that's what I found handles best. Had that on my knucklehead with a Sporter front end, and the flathead I built and have now, built it from the ground up to handle, that's what I run on it. And that bike handles like no other no shit. Just saying, you might have a little too much tire on the front. Or not, just IMHO. Or I may have misinterpreted your comments. :)

Interested to see what your route was. At some point your were on the 101 near Hopland in Mendocino?
Taller bars with some risers dude and maybe a set if highway pegs so you can stretch out your legs for some added comfort
Thank you 😎
I know that stretch of 101 too well, the bridge just south of Hopland
