Yeah, for the Damage redux. On top of all that, Perseverance means you don't Have to block! For more Poise against anything except a Greathammer, it's overkill. You got plenty of Poise there to Tank straight swords all day. Lately, my Fashion Souls (High Poise, Armor, and you don't look like a total Dork) has been Cathedral K***ht Helm, Gundyr's Armor, Lothric Gauntlets (Actually vary depending on Weapon. I adjust my Weight in the hands as the least critical slot.) 42+ is enough to Tank 1 hit from a 2H Greathammer with the BKGS, and after that, Perseverance resets it for you (With damage reduction.) What's the point if you can't look like a Badass while you're doing it?
Incidentally, with the Black Knight Greatsword, the Demon's Fists make more sense. Perseverance is redundant, you get almost pure Strength scaling, and a little Burn. Not to mention a Combo the Caestus don't have, with Hyperarmor. With the Armor I suggested, you can get it in under 40 Vitality (With Havel's Ring/Of favor, and the prisoner's Chain.)
Most of my "hatemail" from defeated hosts goes like "holy shit I love your videos!". Very rarely do I ever receive legitimate hatemail. ...I'm not sure whether this is a good or a bad thing. I'll settle on good. Also, this invasion? EXCELLENT. Stretching across the whole stage like that, using the explosive barrels, constantly picking your moments... That's the kind of perfect war I adore most.
I thought i knew what would happen after i saw the first CBV. But that spell seems designed for dealing with groups of phantoms tightly clustered, and he managed to not hit you for too much damage, which is above average in terms of co-invader skill. That whole ordeal was beautifylly played and managed.
I think the other invader was just trying to wait for his moment while he wasn't helping you, since the host kept resummoning. He might have been suggesting that you come over to the area with the barrels. Idk though, lol, just a guess on my part. ^_^

Honestly, this would be fixed if summoning had a long, vulnerable animation that if cancelled at any time completely undoes the summoning process. It makes summoning for innocent co-op easy (because they're in their little bonfire space) while making gank armies impossible because invaders can just ignore the phantoms to smack the bitch host once to interrupt the next summon wave then proceed to fight. Either that or have a reverse-sunganker covenant where one only invades world where invaders are already present to back them up.

you know that in pvp power within gives you an AR- DEBUFF!? In PVE you get AR x 1.20 but in pvp it is AR X 0.94!!! the punishment for that fast stamina regen..... while dragon roar not even stuns - it does more dmg in pvp than in pvp (pve = +10% - pvp = + 12.5%)
ye it's like 20% in pve vs 15% in pvp, still okay though. All the body buffs do that like 10 percent increase to defense n AR for sacred oath in pve but in PvP it's 5%.

AR x 0.94 (POWER WITHIN) means you do 6% LESS damage than without buff!! because the extreme stamina regeneration would make it too powerfull otherwise. So you get a PENALTY regarding dmg. In short - not 15% more AR in pvp (power within) it's 6% LESS AR/dmg - thats why I wrote DEbuff. the only buff which is stronger in pvp than pve is the dragon roar (not from shield). 12.5% more AR instead of 10% in pve. it stuns on top but only a few weapons suits to dragonstyle. A good example is the medicore AR of the ringed knight sword with the awesome WA. With roar and flynn you push them from 400 AR to 500 AR - leo or both lloyds makes it even more powerful. ring and weapon swapping is way more important in DKS 3 than in other souls game. because of the limited "actions" you can do compared to demon's souls (best IMO) and dark souls. no running bs (bs window is tighter and way better than in dark souls), pushlock (demon's souls) is superior to the kick ... no triangle-roll-bs and so on.... I mean r1, r1, r1 became famous with DKS3 - says anything about the playstyle. Ring and weaponswapping (leo, cat, hornet, slumbering, red-blue-ring, obscuring, milkring, sunprincess (duels) are just a few "must haves". last but not least - ARMOR SWAPPING (ofc the big disadvantage playing as dragon) is another key. depending builds. vitality builds: heavy armor set - poise - absorption - mid heavy armor set - absorption - poise (to get under 30 % of equip burden) and boots only with cat ring (40 vitality) to fall 3 times higher than your opponents can. dex builds - mid-armor - absorption. (most dex weapons do NOT check your armor poise!!) and loincloth set with master attire to be under 30% of equip burden. naked with cat ring and life ring+3 (so you can fall higher without investing too much into vitality) - and if you see an advantage - then transform into dragon. that means - you should have only 2 sets of armor. everything else is in your inventory. same with rings and weapons. I won so many 1 vs 3 invasions by swapping everything and using the area to my advantage. high vitality/dex builds - with equip burden under 15% (or even naked) - and you can fall 3 - 5 times higher than your opponents. they always rush you. they see that I survived the fall - and follow - lol.... easy win ;)
last but not least - get rid of havel ------ there are sheets with best poise/weight armor or best absoprtion/weight armor or best weight/absorption/poise armor - and havel is not once in the top 5....
