I just think that the WWF should have gave him a better character to play instead of that stupid Skinner. I'd rather if they just had him and Stan Lee reprise their Fabulous Ones tag team and give them a run at the tag belts. A Rockers vs Fabs match would have been money imho.
That was Vince's plan: take the best talent from the territories and bury them. He had no intention of making Steve Keirn a star in the wwf, but taking him weakened the uswa. You can't necessarily blame Keirn though. He probably went from making $500 a week to $2,000 a week.
