See this is why Lawler is one of the top ten promos of all time in my book. He don't have fancy catchphrases like Rock, Flair, or Dusty but what makes Lawler so fucking great on that mic is the ability to explain things to the fans that may not make sense, as another poster commented above. He uses such great psychology that you actually believe everything he's saying. This is why I miss the Memphis promotion b/c Lawler didnt treat the fans like they had short attention spans, unlike WWE.

All I can say use if you have ever been to the studio wrestling what you said is so true especially when it's all over because Jerry Lawler's a total different person once the show is off the air and how I know is because I had a personal talk with him though it was brief I still got an autograph along with that conversation and that is a moment that I'll never forget

Had some ex inlaws in the business in the day that said Keirn was a legit badass, along with Bruiser Brody and that Ware wasn't a threat at all Met all of these guys a few times along with Austin Idol. Love Memphis wrestling

@CombatSportFan Lots of people hate Lawler. Mostly for the low payoffs in Memphis. I don't know about Embry but the reason he didn't come back had a little to do with the pay.
