Unfortunately, what you said about Korea is quite true, and I also experienced all the nonsenses you've mentioned in the video. As an overseas Korean who returned Seoul last year, it was a huge reverse culture shock.. Thanks to those, I found many Koreans who speak any other language beside Korean (especially a younger generation who spent quite a long time outside of South Korea) tend to pick their overseas job opportunity happily if they get, and some of them end up settle down overseas permanently. That even makes South Korean government suffer from brain drain. I doubt it would be significantly better in near future. We might have to wait 2 or 3 decades (or longer) to enjoy the South Korean society that all the nonsenses you've mentioned became a pathetic relic in the past. However, hopefully, many South Koreans (50's or below in general) no longer take all those nonsenses for granted, and things just started to get better gradually. A side story, you said you've lived in Mainland China for a long time. if I may ask, where in Mainland China did you live? Franky, I lived in Shanghai for one year before I came back in Seoul last year.
Ronald Kim wow thank you for the very informative comment post! indeed i have some reverse culture shock when i go to singapore too haha. indeed korea is changing for sure, but its going to take time... a loooong time. hey, hit me up for beer or coffee if u r in seoul! i lived 6 years in shanghai (2004 - 2009) and 6 years in beijing (2009 - 2015).

Thank you so much for your kind compliment! It is the purpose of my channel to show the REAL Korea... and its both sweet and sour. :) Both the good and not so good parts.
As a Korean, I agree with most of your words. Prices are very cheap compared to the US or Europe, they are a little cheaper than Japan, and they are much more expensive than most other Asian countries. Getting a job in Korea is not easy. The youth unemployment rate is about 15%, so if you don't have much more advantages than the Korean applicants in the field you are applying for, it is not easy to be hired. If you don't speak Korean very well, it is not so easy to get into Korean society either. When Koreans with similar abilities are applying at the same time, who should the company owner be comfortable to work with? Since the Confucian culture has been steadily spreading since the Joseon Dynasty, Korea has many cultural characteristics that are very different from those of other countries. Also, the ratio of foreigners living in Korea is only about 3 ~ 4%, so it will not be easy to live unless you accept Korean culture and society. It is impossible to enjoy a leisurely life with low grade occupations such as a waiter or a clerk at a mart and so on. If you work for an international company and work for a Korean branch or for a big Korean company or find a niche market and do your own business, you will be able to enjoy a leisurely life in Korea. Korea is not for everyone. So some Koreans want to immigrate to foreign countries. Others want to stay in Korea.

And now he's been out of a job since his move and is using up his savings just to survive. Mind you, he's a very brilliant professional, but he can't even get a job anywhere in Korea. He'll finally be moving back to the States end of the year, but damn.. I can't begin to imagine. Thanks for the informative video.
Bro. I’m watching your video after spending a few days in Singapore on a business trip for a Korean IT company. I’m definitely going to convince my wife to run away to Singapore with me hahaha
Hi Limpeh, I love your videos! I'm a new subscriber. I live in Korea as well and I find most of what you say to be absolutely true. Korean society is hard to break into. Everyone has a mix of advantages and disadvantages because of where they were born, what they look like, education level, etc. You just have to try your hardest with the advantages you've got. For instance, I'm in the education field. I was fortunate to get an English teaching position at a university in Daejeon. However, people are so shocked because I'm Filipino-American, and they never thought I would get hired here because most employers prefer a western looking person. Things are changing a little though...slowly, haha. For viewers, I suggest that if you want to move to Korea, moving to a smaller city first, where the environment is less competitive, can help you ease into the society. You can build your credentials, and build your language skills before moving to a harder market, such as Seoul.
Welcome to my channel and thank you for endorsing my messages! I have a couple more videos I had to hide due to the intensity with which I discuss the issues that you just mentioned. Thank you for enjoying my badly taken videos and do tell your friends about me! :)
I have been there in 10 days and talked to some koreans. They also said living in Korea is hard. Too much stress and people are competing to each other. Anyway, what I like about Korea are food and their fashion and design.
Been in a Korea for a week at KU... I love it here... going here is sooo helpful if you want to advance your Korean. Korea University is right in a big city (Seoul) or Anam. I often go into the city and order stuff and ask questions IN KOREAN. And I love it here! I'm only here for 6 week and I dread the day I have to go :(((( P.S. Lotte World is not as big as you would think!... P.P.S it's SUPER hot here and people actually BUY mini fans to hold and hold umbrellas when it's not raining. I often have to change my clothes because i sweat too much (which never happened to me before I came to Korea!)
If you have a special set of skills, such as computer programming, game developing or engineering expertise, you will do well in Korea. Also, work environment in the IT industries is pretty good as well.
I've looked at various sources on the net and found that although S. Korea has a high suicide rate, it's not the highest in the world for the last 12 consecutive years. For example if you look at WHO figures for 2015 reported in various articles, S Korea is not ranked 1st - although the sources give different ranking numbers. If you look at the wiki page for "suicide in South Korea", it says that "Suicide in South Korea is largely the result of a high prevalence of suicide among the elderly. However, suicide rate has been generally declining since 2011 thanks to proactive government efforts."
You are right, its not in the world but amongst OECD countries... that makes it so much better now, welcome! www.koreatimesus.com/11-years-in-a-row-south-korea-is-no-1-in-suicide-rate-among-oecd-countries/
Personally I feel that the military threat of North Korea would be more psychologically stressful or do South Koreans not feel the same way as they have become used to it? What do they think about the nuclear threat? Perhaps one day you may also have second thoughts about staying on in S Korea because of this?
and no, I was a military officer for 6 years so I have seen worse shit than this, I fear no war nor death. In all my deployments, I have handled more than 30 dead bodies so its nothing to me. I will be here to fight for S Korea if that day comes.
Also, like I mentioned, these are very rudimentary principle considerations only... there are MANY more but not anything you should consider in priority if these few simple ones are a no go for you. I deliberately left out the N Korean issue because its political and I don't talk politics on my channel.
Thank you for these amazing videos, please make more videos in the future !! I'm really looking forward to the new meal series ! Also, which 6-7 languages do you speak ? :0
your video gave me mixed emotions...i love korea because of their contributions to society ( kpop/kdrama/smartphone/ etc ) and watching kdramas makes me happy.. i think we have a more positive outlook in life even though phils. is considered one of the poorest country .. what can we do to make them koreans happy or we can start how to make them smile more. have a great day chinggu. :)
well, we could help more koreans get out of korea... already alot of koreans are in phil even though it is one of the poorest countries in the world. In fact, it is a well recognised fact that north koreans are happier than south koreans. Wealth robs us of happiness... sadly...
@@SingaporeanInKorea I live and work in the Phil and I think it isn't considered one of the poorest. Just look in their cities. And it's true there's a lot of Koreans living here everywhere you look. I think they're second to the Chinese. I wonder why?
Interesting. What are typical stresses? I live in Canada and I look after international students and I have really LOVED my kids and the Korean children are well raised, well behaved.
I enjoyed your video. It was pretty harsh though. It backed up my suspicions, that I wouldn't like South Korea if I had to work there. I am planning to visit for the first time next year. I think if I love it, the best for me would be to work at home 9months of the year and then spend 3 months of the year in South Korea. It's an idea, but first a short holiday to test the waters. Thanks for your video :)
@@SingaporeanInKorea I agree with your points but the thing is every country has many cons...this is true about Singapore or USA or India or Saudi Arabia...it is life...
I think koreans are very competitive. That is y they need to go under knife to enhance their look...koreans compete against one another for grade, career and look....in fact I saw on utube parents send their high school kids for plastic surgeries to enhance their future opportunities.
My Korean friend also told me life is tough in Korea. A lot of them moved to Japan to look for jobs. What does your company do? It's like you are living a retired life already and can live anywhere you want. I also want to work towards that. So you are not coming back to Singapore?
That's right. I am semi retired. Still run some projects in this region from time to time so yeah, I am here to stay in this region. Been away from Singapore for too long to be back... there's nothing in Singapore for me.
Do they still require the min $10 000? for deposit money? I saw some youtube videos that say some places don’t require key money but the rent is higher. I am interested because in Singapore I still need to find a place to rent but rent here is super expensive, maybe minimum SGD $600-$800 for a small bedroom which you have to share the house with the landlord or other tenants while in korea you can rent the whole apartment for that price, depending on location of course 😅 Im just curious because I am interested in moving there😅
Seoul is no cheaper than sg, in fact, overall it is more expensive and if u are in the habit of eating 3 meals a day, it is MUCH MUCH MORE expensive to live in Seoul, expect to spend thousands a month on food alone. SG has the cheapest food in the first world par none.
this is the truth! I was a Singaporean exchange student in korea and there was soooo much bs even in my host uni that i've heard of from students and people living here alike. The food is also really expensive and I can't be healthy here cause fruits are so ex and rare lol
As I am very truthful, I could never live under those circumstances. I had no idea that this was the way there. As I am sure many other countries have many ,, to me unheard of customs. I find it at first as being Italian, and am in America, learning all the time,, however having a good time with so much of it. Had no idea of what went on in Korea. However, do know, that in my view, you can make the USA, whatever you want to make of it, with your own choices, and accepted with the respect you give to other's, you get back. Treat Human's the way you wish to be treated. Have a Great Day!! 2019, in the USA! High 5 Bro,,,
I guess i can add to this. You cant take more paid holidays then your direct manager and no continuous leaves for more than 3 working days unless it your wedding. Saturdays are not compulsory but you are expected to be there if you are in manufacturing. If you have mild illness with MC's you are expected to come to work. Generally its like this but it depends on the company.
Thanks for making this video... i know many people who are taken in by K-pop and K-drama are not aware how hard life is in SK. In fact i know of families who are living outside SK, and they don't want their children to suffer in the system. In one family, the boy is doing NS now, going back is not an option. The older boy who went back cannot even get job... life is not even possible for Korean what more a foreigner ? I believe the white people who work as English Language teachers will not be able to adapt and will leave after a few years... You really say what needs to be said and i know you also hold back on many other aspects... Still i love the food, the drama, the shopping, the 4-seasons but uprooting to go there is a CRAZY idea.....it's a fine holiday destination though .... Take care !
Chilli Padi thank you for your extremely informative comment!!! indeed i held back ALOT! life is so F tough in SK that i am glad i wasnt born here LOL!
The SK youth without jobs are eating only 2-meals a day !!!! Please ... If your have to eat 3 meals a day + snacks + ice-cream + smoke + drinks ... can you survive ? You are taking the jobs of the local, will they like you and welcome you ?
I'm a Korean, and I didn't know that average Korean income is lower than average Singaporean's. I don't know about Singapore economy or society, but I had lived japan for one year. And i guarantee that the salary of average Japanese people is almost same with Korea's. Is it true that average salary of Singapore is higher than Japan or Korea?
Ok you look like a rich retiree. My monthly salary is above 10 million won (10000 usd), but I'm not saying about me and you. I'm saying about national average salary. I heard that average salary of HK or Singapore is lower than Korea's because their high GDP is attributed to foreign asset & fund. I'm not sure but it would be fact.
Well it could be but I get this from asking the salaries of the Korean friends I have around me and thats the general idea that I am left with. Entry salaries range about only 1.5k USD to about 2k USD even in large corporations and thats really much lower than the average Singapore entry level salary of about 3k USD... not data but all things I experienced on the ground.
yea man, i always wanted to marry a korean women and bring her family to singapore to live, since singapore more fortunate, except for branding or recognition in arts whatsover... but going overseas be it developed or kampung countries and knowing someone isnt easy haha
I'm poor Chinese in Sydney, Australia. Australia is even more expensive than Seoul South Korea. South korea is cheap compared to Australia. Try being poor in Sydney. You'd lose your mind.
Lots of places in the world are more expensive than Korea, my son. You don't even have to go that far to experience expensive, just go to Japan. And no, I will never again go halfway around the world to one of the most boring countries I have ever been to just to spend more money. :)
Japan's expensive areas are mostly inner city. Living in Sydney is also very expensive. Even Singapore is more expensive to live in. The biggest expense has always been the rent/mortgage. I was just confused as to why you said South Korea was expensive. My guess is that people from poor countries asked this. For me I was born in Sydney and got used to the expensive meals and overpriced housing. At least in Japan you could get decent apartments for much cheaper. More value for money. Yes, Sydney is very boring and slowly becoming a shithole. However good thing is there is little pollution and reasonably good place to retire.
@@777randomguy If you look at it in the point of view of a Singaporean which is probably most of his viewers, we can easier get a meal with a drink for less than 4000won. In korea if you eat in just a simple little shop even the drink is 2000won already lol. As for my house it's a small one room that barely fits my necessities like bed, kitchen, table, tiny cupboard. My deposit was already 16million won, also we still have to pay monthly rent. Yeah if you live in the rural areas I think it is rather cheap but hell in Seoul it can be a few times more expensive than Singapore's apartment prices. The point is not everybody can afford to live here in Seoul considering their salary is similar to ours.
@@wynneaw Seoul is a large city and encompasses many areas. Therefore there is a spectrum and range of costs I.e distribution. Theres no point comparing deep inner city Seoul or gangnam, fair comparison is the average. Singaporeas gdp per capita is one of the highest in the world. South Korea wage are much lower. Trust me I know my numbers. Singapore is definitely more expensive all around.
You know men i actually thinking about coming to korea working and then moving to japan countries are different from each other even tho i have passion for korea i could live in japan it is not so for from there rofl. Getting an eng teacher job there is way easier but it is stress full to if you dunno how to be a teacher. Also i think that in a company it is easier to get a job. But mobbing is quite popular the only thing i would complain is mobbing and amount of bullish you get in both countries. To be honest i have a korean gf but i dunno how they parents will react to me i am white i dont think about myself that i am particularly ugly or handsome i am just average. I will try to find a job in korea but if i cant i gonna move that is my plan.
I know, good luck getting those visa and share a video on how you did when you get it. :) In fact, I know only one 1 foreigner who isn't married to a Korean and successfully gotten one of those exotic visas and he is a published writer contracted to a publisher here... mmm... I wonder how many of us are published writers here... anyone? :)
Silly question (I would only like to visit S. Korea someday): .... what if you're not White but you look White because people think you're supposed to look like Hollywood but, well, you don't? Would that still make you not suitable for Korea? LOL.
@@SingaporeanInKorea Well I know that in some countries there is a lot of prejudice. I went to Austria once and was treated very poorly . But I was asking just to be silly - I'm not White but people think I'm White all of the time! But I am given to understand S. Korea lacks freedom of speech, and being a spoiled American I'm kind of attached to that value.
You'll See It When You Believe It !! i m korean i have stared work when i was 28 at the company my fist salaryv was 3000 dollars per month now 4000dollars per month im 32years old now and once i retire i will receive pension is that too low to u? im not an elite at all..i thinks this is the average for my age. one of my frieds earn 30000dollars per month withouth tax who has his own business. korea is not poor bro but still hard to survive here the living cost and the housing in seoul ...too expensive. for us food is not thats expensive when u go out eat i think 5~12dollars will do for one person.
The Korean Singaporean 박 채 원 its already a fabulous country for me or else i wont have chosen to live here. :) i can live anywhere in the world i choose to and i chose here.
And no, Korea is the worst place for Singaporeans to start a business in... I explained why in another video. My company is in Singapore with business in China and US.... occassionally I do some stuffs in Korea like meetings and stuff but for the most part, I only live here.
Actually girls are fine, I meant guys. Like I said, its easy for any kind of girls to marry korean husbands as long as the family likes something to boast about.
+Singaporean In Korea thanks for the response.I'm concerned about the employment part.I don't want to be an english teacher, i would like to get into a pharmaceutical company and i know that this means that i have to improve my korean.l don't want to invest time learning how to read korean at native level and never get the job.Dating wise i'm fine, the guy that i'm in a relationship with is bugging me to move to Korea and stay there long term because he returned to S.Korea already. So i want to gauge if the relationship will survive because i will be an unhappy girlfriend if i'm unemployed😔.
Don't be disheartened. I am not trying to completely discourage people from coming to Korea but to adopt a more conservative approach such as not committing to the "I am going to be in Korea forever" kind of thinking but first try to start sending resumes before you come to Korea and come only when you have a job confirmation. That is the sensible way and the only suitable way. :)
Singaporean In Korea but the truth is there are also a lot of new China immigrants in Singapore now...sometime when you are on the mrt, you thought you are in Shenzhen... :p

Yes,sir. I am origanally Asain, maybe that is why I love the style and design from Korea. I dont like design from the Scandinavia or the USA.
Cos we are Asians. :)
Ryan M enjoy your stay!
고마워요 ^^
Perhaps one day you may also have second thoughts about staying on in S Korea because of this?
not true... South Koreans have grown so immune to this that they don't bother or believe it anymore...
and no, I was a military officer for 6 years so I have seen worse shit than this, I fear no war nor death.
Thank you for your kind encouragement! I speak mandarin chinese, hokkien, cantonese, malay, japanese, korean and spanish
woah that's really impressive :0 how long did you take to learn all of them though ?
fawls02 about 30 over years lol
hahaha.... non singaporean wont understand lah!
oh yeah, maybe thats why haha
your video gave me mixed emotions...i love korea because of their contributions to society ( kpop/kdrama/smartphone/ etc ) and watching kdramas makes me happy.. i think we have a more positive outlook in life even though phils. is considered one of the poorest country .. what can we do to make them koreans happy or we can start how to make them smile more. have a great day chinggu. :)
well, we could help more koreans get out of korea... already alot of koreans are in phil even though it is one of the poorest countries in the world. In fact, it is a well recognised fact that north koreans are happier than south koreans. Wealth robs us of happiness... sadly...
north koreans happier than south koreans? r u serious or joking?
watch this... ua-cam.com/video/EhmzpMP3bEE/v-deo.html
ignorance is bliss
@@SingaporeanInKorea I live and work in the Phil and I think it isn't considered one of the poorest. Just look in their cities. And it's true there's a lot of Koreans living here everywhere you look. I think they're second to the Chinese. I wonder why?
Omg I love this video .. awake up call for those korean fanatics ..thank you cutie for dropping the bomb .. stay cute ok
.hehehe
hahahah yeah dropped the bomb there! Thanks for enjoying it!
I think if you do the 9 / 3 thing, you would definitely LOVE Korea. :) Hit me up when you come!
Thanks, don't be surprised if I do. I'm thinking May 2018
I won't be and I'll be waiting. :)
your videos are amazing man, great job!
Glad you think so! Do sub and share with friends who needs to know! :)
@@SingaporeanInKorea I agree with your points but the thing is every country has many cons...this is true about Singapore or USA or India or Saudi Arabia...it is life...
@@MrTaloul well, that is true but too many people think Korea is flawless and this video is meant for them.
I think koreans are very competitive. That is y they need to go under knife to enhance their look...koreans compete against one another for grade, career and look....in fact I saw on utube parents send their high school kids for plastic surgeries to enhance their future opportunities.
I love your videos, so interesting! Thank you.
awwwww thank you!! Do sub and tell your friends about me! :)
Cutie! Love your fur baby!🙂 Blessings from South Texas 🤠
I'm a native Korean and this is true but since I'm a native I'm obviously used to it.
Thank you so much for confirming my message !:)
I love this guy
thank you!! super informative
Glad you liked it!! do sub and tell your friends about me. :)
I like your channel. Cheers from USA!!
Thank you!! Do sub and tell your friends about me. :)
As i have lived in singapore and korea, the korean average salary is higher than singapore one in case you have an office job and work in CS
Interesting...
Btw i really miss sg especially char kway teow and chilicraps
me too LOL! hahaha
I always went to tanjong pagar, liang court and Newton for my food!
hahahha power lah! Are you living in Seoul? We should hit up for some soju!!
unker, u are very realistic. i like. * subscribe *
hahaha thank q hor!
I've subscribed to you too hehe
Singaporean In Korea kamsahamida unker :D!
Thanks for this very realistic video. I still think I'll teach for 1 year in Korea and site see.
Do they still require the min $10 000? for deposit money? I saw some youtube videos that say some places don’t require key money but the rent is higher. I am interested because in Singapore I still need to find a place to rent but rent here is super expensive, maybe minimum SGD $600-$800 for a small bedroom which you have to share the house with the landlord or other tenants while in korea you can rent the whole apartment for that price, depending on location of course 😅 Im just curious because I am interested in moving there😅
Haha yes, it is definitely WAY MORE expensive to rent in Korea and Japan due to not following the same western system of a single month deposit
And no, you cannot get any decent whole house for just 600 or 800sgd
Seoul is no cheaper than sg, in fact, overall it is more expensive and if u are in the habit of eating 3 meals a day, it is MUCH MUCH MORE expensive to live in Seoul, expect to spend thousands a month on food alone. SG has the cheapest food in the first world par none.
you are a genius !!! you should write a book teaching us !! lol 😉☺ love it !!! 😊 inspiring !! 👍
this is the truth!
High 5 Bro,,,
EXACTLY! 6 months in NYC and I am truly awed by how accepting and open the culture here is! :) Where in US do you live?
I had a korean friend that told me he had a 16 days annual leave but not able to use it.
Very common.
he be lucky if he doesn't work on public holidays and weekends too.
Maybe that's the reason why I see so many Korean retired in laos
WOW thats interesting to know!
love your channel
ahahah thank you for enjoying my videos. Pls do sub and tell your friends about me! :)
Thanks for the sharing
thanks for enjoying it! Do sub and tell your friends about me. :)
Chilli Padi i think u r the only one who understood what i was saying
www.koreaboo.com/news/heres-south-korean-youth-eating-less-2-meals-day/
The SK youth without jobs are eating only 2-meals a day !!!! Please ... If your have to eat 3 meals a day + snacks + ice-cream + smoke + drinks ... can you survive ? You are taking the jobs of the local, will they like you and welcome you ?
So, I answer "yes" to most questions, but I don't want to live there lol I just came for your honest review
I think only superman can live there.
Real talk!
Wow! Certainly live up to the Hell Joseon reputation!
you know that term yeah? Indeed, how bad things need to get for citizens of a country to call their own country that.
Seoul never sleeps
This is good information 👍😊🤙
I'm a Korean, and I didn't know that average Korean income is lower than average Singaporean's.
I don't know about Singapore economy or society, but I had lived japan for one year.
And i guarantee that the salary of average Japanese people is almost same with Korea's.
Is it true that average salary of Singapore is higher than Japan or Korea?
My first salary in Singapore 20 years ago was 3 million won, entry level salary... go figure... (again, that was 20 years ago, my first salary! LOL!)
Singaporean average income& assets definitely not as high as Japanese.
yea man, i always wanted to marry a korean women and bring her family to singapore to live, since singapore more fortunate, except for branding or recognition in arts whatsover... but going overseas be it developed or kampung countries and knowing someone isnt easy haha
Its far easier to live in Singapore with a Korean spouse than living in Korea with a Korean spouse.
thanks Uncle Limpeh !! (uncle as in wise master/teacher ) lol !!! 😊
"At least in Japan you could get decent apartments for much cheaper. More value for money." LOL! Have you even been to Japan?
What if you're from America but you're mixed? Is it hard or easy to find a job?
if you don't look westerner, yes.... sadly... discrimination is in full force here
Would like to ask, why do you like to live in korea then?
here: ua-cam.com/video/vTpjs7GQje8/v-deo.html
Thanks for the info.
I was thinking about startup in Korea, what's your opinion? I'm Indian btw. And I was thinking about SIngapore.
Yes Singapore, No Korea.
Thanks. Good to know. You got a good channel btw, I subbed.
Thank you VERY MUCH!!! Most people think my videos are badly taken and I have a dark delusion about Korea hahahaaha Do tell your friends about me! :)
How often do you usually go back to singapore and what is the first thing you do ?
i go to singapore for a couple of days once every 2 to 3 years... the only thing i do is go to church with my mum and then i am off the next day.
Wow that was understandable as singapore really have very limited choice of things to do. Haha 😂
Lonely Wolves and its really far... the same distance i could holiday in more interesting places like saint petersburg or even just japan haha
Thanks for an interesting video once again!! How about making friends? Are they open to befriending non-white foreigners???
Silver Rain yes, making friends and even becoming romantic isnt a problem, its bringing it to the next step that is the problem.
How do u live in Korea but not work there sorry I don't get it
watch this: ua-cam.com/video/o3DqFmR97fQ/v-deo.html
I'm confused with the "white" part. Do you mean skin colour?
yeah
Life in Korea is hard... take your GF back to live in your home country if you can.
interesting argument. Korea is a playground for after you've made it...
Plz try coming to India too!!😊
I did! :) Was in Cochin 20 years ago. :)
No,no, no,no,no,no
Men your scaring people!!!!
And I think you don’t know H2,F2,F5,F6 foreigner can work like native
I know, good luck getting those visa and share a video on how you did when you get it. :) In fact, I know only one 1 foreigner who isn't married to a Korean and successfully gotten one of those exotic visas and he is a published writer contracted to a publisher here... mmm... I wonder how many of us are published writers here... anyone? :)
❤🙌
Silly question (I would only like to visit S. Korea someday): .... what if you're not White but you look White because people think you're supposed to look like Hollywood but, well, you don't? Would that still make you not suitable for Korea? LOL.
hahahah I am different but if you are just coming for travel, that is not a concern. :)
@@SingaporeanInKorea Well I know that in some countries there is a lot of prejudice. I went to Austria once and was treated very poorly . But I was asking just to be silly - I'm not White but people think I'm White all of the time! But I am given to understand S. Korea lacks freedom of speech, and being a spoiled American I'm kind of attached to that value.
well, as a tourist, you won't run into that kind of problems haha
i don't understand how the food can be so expensive if the average salary is low ...
유태석 thanks for the info. i am so sorry i did not mean anything by it. i just did not know
유태석 when u say living cost expensive u mean electricity right ? but food is ok right ?
Ayos pangalan ng aso nya... C toto 😂😂😂
he speaks like an African guy
Hopefully president 문재인 will take measures to make Korea a better place for you and me :p
The Korean Singaporean 박 채 원 its already a fabulous country for me or else i wont have chosen to live here. :) i can live anywhere in the world i choose to and i chose here.
Sorry I misinterpreted my words I mean EASIER TO LIVE AND SETLLE DOWN IN...
haha so the jizz of the video is to start a business here?
Korean Singaporean means you are Singaporean born to Korean parents?
And no, Korea is the worst place for Singaporeans to start a business in... I explained why in another video. My company is in Singapore with business in China and US.... occassionally I do some stuffs in Korea like meetings and stuff but for the most part, I only live here.
For the second question, did he said quite or white? haha
syahid faries white lol
I swear ur Damn cool! Do u have a ig or something
hahahaha thank you, what an ig? lao unker dunno hahahaha

yeah, instagram limpeh_in_seoul facebook limpeh.in.seoul
can u imagine if u worked for an immigration to korea company lol !!!!
huh? price inflation again? 5000won should be enough to get a normal meal with side dishes at any family run shops, no?
oh btw, you can take the Singaporean out of Singapore, but you can't take the Singlish out of the Singaporean. lolll
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and nope... 5000 won gets you instant noodle with kimbap...
sian leh like that. Go stay in Incheon lah, the prices there are half of Seoul. But up to 1 hour by public transport from Seoul.
haha Seoul prices is fine for me haha
Nice Dog...
Thank you
hahaha why are you like this😂😂 you lost me at 'white'...sigh
So i want to gauge if the relationship will survive because i will be an unhappy girlfriend if i'm unemployed😔.
charmaine jay yes getting a proper job is the hard part if u arent from one of the top universities in the world.
+Singaporean In Korea alrightie thanks a lot
Don't be disheartened. I am not trying to completely discourage people from coming to Korea but to adopt a more conservative approach such as not committing to the "I am going to be in Korea forever" kind of thinking but first try to start sending resumes before you come to Korea and come only when you have a job confirmation. That is the sensible way and the only suitable way. :)
