WHAT I USE TO RECORD
I play a PRS Starla SE that is recorded directly into Studio One for processing/effects. I use Will Putney's STL Tonality as the virtual amp suite. I record the videos on my iphone.

Sounds great and now I'm learning it thanks to your video. Great warm up piece and a great homage to the original.
My only issue is the starting riff with the hammer-slide up/slide down end part. I slowed the Sum 41 album version down to 50% and you can hear Sum 41 match the original song more closely than what you have tabbed out.
The first part has 3 distinct notes leading up to the 4th note on the 7th fret. I play it as hammer on from 2nd fret to 4th fret, playing the 5th fret, then playing the 7th fret.
Then for the downward ending part of the riff, pull off from 5th fret to 4th fret, then play the 2nd fret, back up to the 4th fret.
