This guy is a kick ass working drummer. I wish I had the chance to grab a gig like this. After this he can literally play and read anything first sight. That makes him super valuable on tons of gigs all over the world. this guy has a great future. go man go
"I'm not a beginner but I'm alos not a full blown professional.." so humble. I know many drummers, personally, and people I follow, and honestly I believe you are the best drummer I have ever encountered.
I was about to send my MEE M7s back. They sound tremendous but I can't keep them sealed and all the bass leaks out. Custom molds are a great idea. BTW, I would love to play bass guitar with you. I can hear what you're doing and know where you're going. Not having to play guessing games or chasing a drummer around would be awesome.
You have officially arrived when you are getting sent products. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I have a set of Shure 846 earphones I was thinking of picking up a backup set. These seem terrific so I'm going to give them a look and probably pick up a pair. Thanks
I actually bought a pair of these based on this video, and while the quality of sound in them is really good, the bottom end is quite excessive and boosted (and that's saying something since I'm a bassist!). And, the volume level out of them isn't fantastic; they aren't as loud as the KZ AS10s I have, and trying to drive them harder just results in them distorting out. For IEMs to be used for live work, I'd recommend the KZ AS10s (which are REALLY loud without needing to be driven hard, and are very clear and detailed), the KZ ZS10s (which sound wise are very close to the AS10s but aren't as loud), and the KZ ES4s (which are the same driver set up as the M7 Pro, one dynamic driver and one balanced armature per side). All of the KZ models are a lot cheaper than the M7 Pros. But if you are going to buy the M7 Pros, get yourself some foam tips. I found the silicone ones popped out of my ears very easily, but adding foam tips massively helped the isolation and retaining the bottom end.
Fun to see you play some Tom Misch. He's one of my favorite artists to play drums to. Would love to hear a full cover of one of his songs sometime in the future. You're an awesome drummer and I really enjoy your playing. By the way, I love the snare sound on that kit too. Keep up the good work!
Fellow drummer. You should try the kz as10. 5 balanced armatures per ear. I’ve used the shure 215s and when I got the kzs, they blew the shures out the water. Run about $70. Also recommend the comply memory foam tips and upgraded cable.
Also, did I spot that mike johnston signature transition ride in your other videos?? Been thinking about pulling the trigger on that. What do you think of it?
The KZ as10's can be had for about $30 on Aliexpress. I compare them favorably to the Westone W40 and acually like the fit better. Paired with a Behringer P2 and you have a great wired iem for less than $100.
Playing a little Motown! I think the Motown music of the 60's and early 70's was actually some of the better music of that time. That's coming from a die-hard Who and Yes fan. 😎
I'm so trying these. I went with the Westone UM Pro 20s over the SE215s and I use them once to twice a week. They have been very durable, but I feel like there is a better option. I'm looking forward to giving these a try.
My only complains about the M7 Pro is the cable not being MMCX, which means not that universal. But hey, at least their replacement cables aren't too expensive.
11:17 ..."I'm not like a full blown professional", he says. so humble

why didnt you have the chance to "grab a gig" like his?
There's a chance for everybody somewhere. You just have to find it.

Are these sealed? And how many DBs of noise cancellation? I have the Ultimate Ears UE-5s from a few years ago and still use them all the time.
