I love them! So darn adorable..wish there were kits because I would so buy them!
I don’t have any of those special fabrics..just cotton
I’ll tell the designer you’re interested in a kit!
that's an amazing idea! 😊
Kit is an amazing idea!
I'm going to have to figure out how to make it in Cotton I have so many cotton scraps that would work great for this!
Yes!!! Can’t wait to see 🥰
Great video! Thank you so much!!! Can’t wait to try this! What kind of foam did you use? It looked on the thinner side.
Soft and Stable by ByAnnie
Mrs amber your bag is turning out cute -Anna
Love you Miss Anna. Thank you 💖
Thank u for mentioning what to charge, I struggle with my pricing on all of my bags.
Glad it was helpful! 💖
Adorable! Can they be made in cotton? Also what kind of foam interfacing did you use? Thank you for a great tutorial
Thank you! Yes, you can use cotton! I used ByAnnie Soft and Stable foam for these bags 🥰
These are so dang cute!! Please tell me where you got your lighter? I'm going to get the pattern.. Thanks for a great Video!!!
Thank you! The lighter is from Amazon. Rainbow butane lighter 🥰
🤩 Love it! Where did you find your mini chunky rainbow hardware? All the small hardware I find is so flimsy and seems to break.
More Me Know!!!
@@CraftyReporter awesome! I love Lauren's stuff, I didn't realize she had small hardware, now I'll have to get some. 🙂
Amazing! Where did you get your thread zapper, if you don’t mind sharing.
It’s a Butane lighter from Amazon 🥰
Amber do you think that I could make these with quilt cotton? If I use sf101 to stiffen and then foam. Think that would sturdy enough?
Definitely!
Those mini backpacks are so cute! Why did you snip the tips off the plastic snaps?
It helps to have the plastic smoosh down better. At least that’s what my friend told me 😂
I haven’t used hemostats for this purpose before! Do you line them better than a stiletto?
Yes, I do, because I can clip the layers together to prevent shifting 🥰
I find it fascinating to watch your machine so. I have not seen a machine like yours. I am assuming it is an industrial machine?
It is an industrial machine. It’s a Juki 1181N. 🥰
I have my eye on one of those exact machines..just wondering where I would set it up at! UHG
Very cute. Do you use a digital cutter to cut your pattern pieces?
No, I don’t. 🥰
@@CraftyReporter Do you cut the pattern pieces by hand?
is there a discount for the pattern? I was a bit taken a back by the price lol but its so cute!!!
It’s an automatic discount when you checkout for $2 off. There’s tooooons of pattern pieces and 40+ pgs of instructions. It’s multiple bags in one pattern honestly.
@@CraftyReporter Sounds good to me! thanks!
Is there a reason to do double layers of vinyl for the flap pocket or can I just cut one piece for the bottom and top pocket
I did two layers since it is jelly vinyl and very thin. It would be too thin for a snap without doing a double layer. For regular vinyl, I would do a single layer.
Do you think jelly vinyl would work for the ID window, or is it not stiff enough? I have an abundance of jelly vinyl from weft & warp and no clear vinyl 😅
Yes, that would definitely work! 💜
@@CraftyReporter thank you for your quick response!! I'm cutting some out right now 😅
Why do you cut the tips off the Kam snaps? I struggle with those snaps. does it help make them attach better?
When my stud prongs are too long for the material, I’ll trim a little bit from the tip to help it attach properly.
Where did you get the glow in the dark fabric
It’s from Glitterbug Fairy 🥰
Do you notice a difference between having the gusset down vs the panel down? I’m trying to get my curves more curvy.
I always sew with my gusset touching the machine bed. How do you sew it? I think mine came out curvy 🥰
@@CraftyReporter I usually do panel side down. I feel my foot starts to slip off the side the other way. I’ll have to try working on that.
do any of you wonderful peeps know what kind of presser foot is this? i bought this pattern and i'm trying to order all of the supplies that i need. i have a simple brother gx37, i am still an adventurous beginner 🙂↕️🙂 thank you in advance 🤗
She uses an industrial sewing machine with a walking foot. But you can buy attachable walking foots for domestics. they're not really like the industrials but they help for sure
I’m not sure what you’re asking 😅
@@LesleyCanterbury22 oh okay, i have a walking foot but have never used it, thank you so much, i appreciate it tremendously ♥️
Can the ID window go on the inside instead of outside?
You could but it might be hard to slide in the card with the gussets and binding in the way.
What is the stuff you are using for the binding?
It is Broadcloth Poplin from Thunderbird Handcrafted. 🥰
What kind of lighter is that you are using?😊
It’s a butane lighter so I can refill it. It is linked on my Amazon storefront. 🥰
@@CraftyReporter How do I find your amazon storefront? Can you give me a link? I've been trying to figure it out, but cant.

Just got the pattern when does one use the chunky pieces.
When you want to make a chunky gusset one instead of a thinner one.
Just makes it a bit bigger bag, correct? Any easier to sew or put together?
@@pamminer755correct
Isn’t Madam Leona from Zorelle?
Maybe!!
You are so fun to watch gurl! It made my exercise bike work out more tolerable!😂
