I like how the Puppet sounds like a parent.
Yes, he sounds very comforting like one; and the fact that he wants them to 'make him proud' by getting their revenge on the purple man makes him sound even MORE like a parent. He just wants the best for them... I love this song because it gives the puppet more insight as a character. I've loved FNaF since 3rd grade and I will NEVER stop loving it. @Egolo Egman same. Obviously the puppet wants revenge for the children but for this song, it’s more sad and slow than angry and energetic. I like most of these deeper in-character songs, like foxy’s tale for example.

@@trittyalderson5159 it actually doesnt need to, the puppet animatronic was most likely a male, and Henry, the man who made the puppet, made it to protect his daughter, so it could be still male voice, but he also could mix both

Same :) I started drawing the souls, the main 6 children. The we identified which of my other 5 friends were who out of the animatronics (from the first game, including golden Freddy) so I could make my friends li’l gift boxes. I got some modelling clay and made 6 (one for me, marionette of the group) white gift boxes with a pop-off lid and a red ribbon, like the gift boxes in FNaF. I then made 6 different relics, you could call them. The list went as follows:
A hook for one of my friends; he identified as foxy.
A guitar for another friend, she identified as Bonnie.
A cupcake for Another, she identified as chica.
A microphone for my cousin; he identified as Freddy.
A top hat with a yellow bow for my friend’s friend; he identified as golden Freddy.
And finally, for me, a puppet mask.

I mean calling a child suffering from sleepwalking and having no control over his actions a "true monster". I mean I know he killed his parents, but he had no control over it!!!!! (Not to mention the bad nightmares) That's pretty f*cking depressing ruined my Christmas when I first heard it.............so thanks for that....

I will aways love these fnaf songs for how well these songs represent the characters and how in-character they sound, both lyrical and in what the character’s voices sound like in these fnaf songs. Sure, nowadays the puppet has an official voice for the character, but you could still believe that the puppet could’ve also sounded like this before the official voices became a thing if that makes any sense.

I first discovered this song when I was in the 5th Grade. Now I’m a college student. It’s insane how much time has gone by. It’s especially surreal that the official Five Nights at Freddy’s movie released just yesterday.
I consider this song to be one of the best of the classics. It captures the spectral, yet somber nature of the game just right. It is awesome to revisit it almost a decade later.

I absolutely adore how even though this came out in 2015, the video itself is almost reminiscent of the Fruity Maze minigame from Fnaf6, with the arcade machine screen and the reflection in it, even down to how you see Puppet looming over Afton's shoulder just like how he loomed in the minigame, what an amazing coincidence

7 years strong and i just now noticed the silhouettes in the background of the 8-bit sections. There's a small shade of purple in the first bit with the puppet behind it in the second bit and the toy animatronics in the final bit.
Listening to this song and crying. The nostalgia, and the fact this song is genuinely soothing to an extent.
