Thank you to all the brave men and women throughout time and the world who fought and sacrificed and continue to do so today so that we can live free and enjoy the many privileges of that freedom. Another wonderful collection and soundtrack.
I can't stop watching your videos... the photos are all so moving... I just found d you and wanted to keep watching... so I'm afraid I haven't left them all a thumbs UP!!! I'll do that tomorrow!! Thank you for bringing history to life.
I'm 100% with you about heights! But when we see the pictures of servicemen and women it makes this week's Remembrance Sunday even more poignant and how grateful so many of us are for what they did. Sadly so much of what they fought for is being trodden down today - but for what I suspect is the quiet majority,, we shall remember them!
Loved that picture of 'Batman' and 'Spock'. A very lighthearted and fun image. Also, I was struck by that photo of Richard Fleming at the end. His torn coat held together with a safety pin tells a story on its own (along with the thousand-yard stare).
They were brainwashed into it. Look what has become of Britain. And all western countries. And we destroyed the only nation to fight them head on. When you finally realize you were betrayed on every level it will be to late. They are destroying you while you live in a dream world.
I spent 20 years in the USMC. The battle of Trafalgar Square is epic! We had multiple epic battles all over the world that wete not recorded like this one. They just live in the fond memories of my brothers.
My father was a chindit in Burma,he was shot twice, escaped from Japanese prison camp, witnessed things that would haunt him for the rest of his life,on his death bed at the age of 87 he went back to the jungle ,shouting the names of his mates and going back to combat ,very sad what these young people went through, and today looking at the state of the uk was it worth it
My grandfather was also in Burma, Tunisia, France Italy & Germany .. took 5 bullets. I left England at 19, but seeing what’s going on over there I’m pretty sure that generation would be less than impressed
Very ironic. My step-son started a club while he was in high school. He was extremely charismatic, always always smiling.I never saw him mad, but was always cheerful. The club he started was the TIE FIGHTERS. This was for boys that hated to wear a tie. Their picture was in the annual, although there were no meetings. The club was so popular, he was asked by an unknown student if he could use the club name for a college reference. I do not know the end of the true story.
He started wearing it that way when he was too poor to get it cut. He didn’t care for it, but his partners made him keep it after he started finding fame.
You forgot the last picture of John Lennon. Realizing MDC could of saved the world from a box-set released from Yoko-ono if he only saved on bullet for her.

Can I just say thank you to all the brave men and women who risked their lives for the U.K. 🙏🏻
Absolutely!
UK was & IS worth it. ❤❤❤
Boing.

Can I say thank you to all the brave men and women who risked their lives AGAINST THE U.K. during this era 🤲🏻
Shocking, amazing, haunting, sad and yes a few brought a smile
This should be the channel tagline !
Another great selection. Thank you, Mark. Lovely music, too.
Many thanks again !
Love the Bob Ross photo!
Took me by surprise when I found it … such an incredible chap.
I've heard that he didn't really like the perm but they convinced him to keep it since it had become such a big part of his identity.
@@emilywagner6354 i agree with Bob. Probably should have ditched it. ha
The Halloween costumes-- UGGG . They are terrifying!!!
On another note, the Bob Ross photo is amazing.
With the photo of the construction workers, I agree! Nope!

Comment of the week 🤗
A great assortment. Some very entertaining, others thought provoking.
So many great photos and of course a couple of "hell,no!"
Great collection!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you
You're welcome
With the current weather situation in the UK - total, total, cloud cover for a week- we shall be needing some sun lamp therapy.
In South Africa, central parts,we're praying for rain and cooler weather. 40 degrees C is no joke
Love the Bob Ross picture!

All those war pictures....and has humanity learned from it? 😢🥀💔
I liked the photo of 'Mr. Spock'. 👍

Sad that I was alive for several of those photos you call historic.
Every time I see a picture of Bob Ross before the permed afro, I can’t fathom why the Afro was a better choice. Perhaps just his branding
He started wearing it that way when he was too poor to get it cut. He didn’t care for it, but his partners made him keep it after he started finding fame.
I'll have to google Bob Ross, never heard of him.
The battle of Trafalger square must have been brutal. 🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Colin Powell was a hottie.
My family in London sheltered like this during the blitz. I am not going to be able to watch this, but thank you for putting this together.
So did mine and many others, but I’m watching it. Some people are so wet 😏

Not funny...
A little funny…pretty funny actually
@@kariegglefield718 Not really, no.
😠
I think that might be William Shatner. Not Adam West.
lol … that looks nothing like Shatner … It’s Adam West … one of my favorite actors and one of the nicest people I ever met.
Don’t think so. Shatner’s face is thinner.
Is it illegal to use the word "England"?
What you on about?
