22:07 “Remember them? They abandoned you!” You chose no peace. 😂
I definitely didn't wake up today and thought that I would spend more than 30 minutes watching the story of a rooster, but now I'm glad I did.

@@Arlow26 so glad you liked it!!
And now they be like shut up olive make me laugh😂
Babes, you should complain about your eggs from which Olive comes from (kinda might be too late tho), but like rotten eggs are not fertilised, that’s why they rot…😢
But we looooooved the tales of Olive❤
This was so awesome, the time love and care you give to them is inspiring, Olive grew up to be such a beautiful rooster 🥰🤍
This was so special to put together, it was nice to reminisce on raising my crazy little roo 🥹💛
Now that’s a beautiful rooster ❤ but what a sassy man he is, I hope he knows your still the HBIC 😂
I wonder where he got the sass from 😜
Thank you for sharing Olive’s story! I thought you had just gotten the eggs and would have to wait months to see how the story unfolded. I love that I can binge-watch it instead! 😂 I also always laugh when you say, “Shut up, Olive,” and when you named him Olive-wow, it’s like watching a prequel! 🤣🤣
I love Olive so much too! He's such a character! 😊

Thanks, been LOL since the start. Definitely this is the funniest and happiest vid on the life of a rooster! Olive or rather Olivio hasn't inherited much of your caring ways, are u sure u're his bio dad? 🤣 And gosh, he's such a HANDSOME, GORGEOUS LOOKING BOY!!!!!!!!
I need to say this😂
I am sorry.. You were right... Olive is a rooster... Pls accept my apologies.... Sorry.. I put up my comment here cuz.. I don't hv comment slot in my utube..

I'm so glad to know the story of Olive. Gorgeous boy.
I love him so much 🥹💛
I’m still stuck on how many eggs those girls were sitting on first! That was amazing!! 😂❤ they are clearly very happy and healthy
Grown Olive is GORGEOUS!! Just Beautiful. Thats Shanticlear right there! ❤ (from Rock A Doodle)
Olive is a beautiful rooster!! I sure hope you are still getting along.... I had an awesome rooster for 6 years until he passed. Then
I got a new rooster named Carlos, who was fine in the beginning but developed a real hatred for me. I tried EVERYTHING with him. I cuddled him, I pinned him down to the ground, I laid on top of him, I squirted him. Nothing worked. He would attack me as soon as I wasn't looking. He beat me up!!! He finally went out to a friend in the country where he could have his own flock. I am now rooster (and contusion) free!! There is nothing better than hatching chicks and watching them grow. I love my little flock.
OMG, how cute it is running through the grass trying to discover, but keep up at the same time! 😊
Olive is so lucky to have such great dads 🥰 Y’all made my day
Your videos calm me right down. It's a safe space from all the craziness of the world. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this video. Following Red leaf Ranch for years and I didn’t know Olives backstory. You’re an amazing plant and chicken 🐔 parent ❤
Thank you so much!!! So blessed to have our Olive 💛
As someone who raised chicks by myself as well, I’m crying this is so nostalgic 😭😭😭(my girls are turning 2 years a week and a half from now)
Olive is going to grow up big and strong and protect those hens that abandoned him. Fellow Tennessean here and new sub!
I busted out laughing soon as the NVM part hit. I couldn't help but think, "yeah, that's what I thought." Even with them rejecting Olive, the way you had the tiny coop set up was prefect for baby chicks. In this case the best thing was hand raising Olive because Chickens are flock animals, single chickens(or chicks) do not do well.
He grew up into a stunning Rooster. Good with your AMAZING. I am so jealous. We recently 10 of country land. I’’m starting slow with a small kitchen garden.
Omg you are funny AF! I so enjoy watching your videos
Such a beautiful story! I love your positivity and optimism. Farming can be so difficult, but so rewarding ❤ love following your journey.
@@CatKayeNailSpa thank you so much!!

29:34 Olive’s new name should be Tomato because Olive loves tomatoes 🍅
i’m not sure what the protocol is for birds but I do know that with reptiles, you want to keep the egg in the same position you found them so it doesn’t mess with the embryo inside. if you try this again, maybe try keeping the eggs more upright like how you received them! you would usually mark the tops of the egg to indicate which side it was on in case they roll around. either way you did amazing! a good tip is to incubate until there’s no debate and you did just that 👍
Bird eggs are very different that way, because they actually HAVE to be turned once in a while for the embryo to develop properly! My guess as to why this batch went so poorly is either 1) just a bad batch of eggs from either transport or just how they were laid, 2) he didn't let the eggs settle long enough after transportation before letting the hens incubate them or 3) the hens just did a poor job incubating for whatever reason (could be that they got too hot or dry? since it looks like they did develop pretty far from the brief candle). Either way I agree that he did a fantastic job, little Olive made me long for the time my own chickens were that little! :'D
I've done it before. It always went well. Even had them hatch out duck eggs. Clucks don't care. They'll sit on anything.
2:03 Oh, no way! 🎉
This is a good example of egg adoption.
Hens: No Boys Allowed!
You: soN Boy Allowed!
Now when they(the hens) get Brody you have a rooster so you’ll have their own fertile eggs.
What breed are the broody hens
Name the baby ✨midnight✨
You have way more patience then me. My chickens were evil spawn of the devil...my Aunt's chickens were 50/50...and the bad half went into the stew pot.
22.45, 23.37, 27.03, 27.30
😂
Glad you broke their broodiness. A lot of people just let them sit until they give up. I find that cruel!
If you want to deal with their brood again, try having a rooster! Though I'm gonna be honest the level of eggs these girls lay. You'd have to candle each one
I stumbled across one of your videos on instagram which lead me here…I have to say you are a beautiful soul 🫶🏼 in this scary world you have brought me comfort and peace. I watch your videos because they are so beautiful and calming. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Never stop 🥺🤍
That's so kind of you to say! I'm so glad my videos bring you peace.
Sir, try to look for a roosters at Amish auctions....
Might be easier to introduce a hen to a new chick if you pull the nad eggs while they brood and put the chick under her at the same time.. then watch just in case lol
If you see this comment I think why you didn't didn't get no more baby chicks it's because that you moved a lot of them except for Olive egg
AnD YoU bEtTeR nOt aBaNdEn aNy MoRe oF tHe Baby chicks
Spoiler alert, they did 😭
Is it me or is it a snake underneath the eggs?
It’s a rooster
Asal mula olive
Go buy some hatched chicks and stuff them under the hens.
Ridiculous
