      Very humbled. Thank you for the kind words. And the inspiration. The Watercraft Journal inspired us to start a channel on the other side of the world. We just wish we could only do as many cool videos as you guys …

    Fantastic review I had a 2023 and still learned some stuff about it.

      Thank you. And thanks for taking the time to leave a note. Glad we could help. May we ask, what did you find most helpful in the video? Thanks again.

    Dear Kawasaki, Please, I’m begging you. Fix the belt tensioner setup. It’s a great design, minus the fact that the bushing should be a stainless bearing, the idler pulley has no business being anything but stainless steel, and the tensioner shock needs to have proper sealed bushings that don’t seize. This has been an issue since its design that hasn’t changed since 2011. I get it, parts cost money but we aren’t talking a lot here. If you want insight on how to build it, look at Kawi Performance and take inspiration from their design. There is no excuse to leave it this way any longer, thank you.

      The main problem is the bushing has almost no grease on it from factory...grease it and you will be fine in fresh water. I have the original 2011 300X

    • @Gmtail
      @Gmtail 3 місяці тому

      @@fzr1000981agreed. Less than a Pennies worth of grease would go a very long way. However, a better design overall I think is warranted.

    Great review Joshua of the 2024 Kawasaki Ultra 310. I didn’t think that color scheme you were riding was an option on the 2024 310x? Thanks for sharing

      Hey thanks so much for the kind words. This colour scheme started off as a 2022 theme for the Kawasaki Ultra 310 X for Australia, but has carried through into 2024. Fortunately we were able to include a preview of the 2025 Kawasaki Ultra 310 range colours before this video went live. Thanks again for the note. It’s always appreciated!

    Good jet ski model from kawasaki😊

      Thanks for the note. It's heavy, thirsty, the bow storage is small and narrow, and the handlebars need to come up a bit further. Plus flushing it twice (engine and intercooler) and fogging the supercharger afterwards are more complex than flushing a Sea-Doo or Yamaha after a ride. But the Kawasaki Ultra 310 crushes chop with ease and the supercharger sounds awesome.

    I've had Yamahas and Seadoos. Maybe a Kawasaki in the future. Hard decision!

      They finally have a better look! Better on the color too. They’ve always been so old man looking. Pay no mind to my screen name. I like everything

      It’s a tough call. All three brands have their strong points and room for improvement. Sea-Doo has great ergonomics and fuel economy but the ST3 models have bow hunt. Yamaha FX has a great hull but is a wet ride and the fuel filler is on the nose. And the Kawasaki Ultra 310 is a beast but very thirsty and some riders may not like the riding position.

      @@WatercraftZone24’ FX has fixed all mentioned above. No longer a wet ride, and gas fill has been repositioned on the side. Unless you’re getting a different ski than the North American market. Great videos though, I’m digging it.

      @@WatercraftZoneI rode a week worth of riding along side a buddy on a 2022 Seado GTX 230. I towed a tube lots and had similar hours to his. My 310 LX took $8 more fuel to fill when we gassed up after a day on the water. It’s thirsty but not crazy compared to others.

    Ooooor you buy a Sea-doo rxp-x 325, takes WAAAY less gas and top out at 130km/h and the price is the same.
    built quality is top notch and you have a ton of accessorizes available.

      Seadoo build quality can’t be compared to Kawasakis. Cant be. I’ve owned both and there’s no comparison.

      @@pajamatime5750 I have both currently and I would take the Sea doo all day long. GTX 300 limited and a 2023 310 lxs. They are both nice but try working on the Kawi, it's comical.

      @@pajamatime5750 lol. I've had 2 recalls on the Kawi and I have not had one issue with the sea doo with over 100 hours of use. Have you tried to change the oil on the Kawi? Talk about comical you can't even see the oil filter lol

    They should make an X version without the supercharger. I like this more simple stripped down model but don't want a supercharger.

    • @WatercraftZone
      @WatercraftZone  3 місяці тому +1

      We completely agree. The RXP is a great hull but not everyone wants or needs supercharged power. Here’s hoping Sea-Doo is tempted to build it one day.

    Kinda of hard to find for this model , plenty of 160’s tho

    • @WatercraftZone
      @WatercraftZone  3 місяці тому +1

      Fair point. There are plenty in stock in Australia but we suspect inventory might be running low in the US, which is perhaps why Kawasaki unveiled the 2025 colour schemes a few months ago.

    its got a kick ass hull for rough water and the roots SC is ultra responive but this is a decade old its time to innovate sea doo and yamaha is leaving kawi behind

    • @WatercraftZone
      @WatercraftZone  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for the note. We love the Kawasaki Ultra hull and the new top deck but we hope Kawasaki is working on an engine upgrade or a complete power overhaul. Especially the Ultra 160 which is thirstier AND slower than its non-supercharged rivals from Sea-Doo and Yamaha.
