Liked NYC better back then!! Lots of good memories. That was the REAL New York style, soul and state of mind. Sorry, but I don't go for that Disneyland shit that Times Square has become!
The good old days... less people and more space to enjoy the sights and sounds of New York City. Now it's overcrowded. Gang members and ex-cons walking the streets.
@@victormanuelrodriguez3852 You may be right, I wouldn't know the difference between a Coca Cola billboard from the 60s or 70s.. I always look at the hairstyles people have and the style of the cars to get an idea of times.. Thanks for responding..😎
@@victormanuelrodriguez3852 - I'd date it to 1969, because there appears to be a billboard on the NE corner of 43d and Broadway for the very short-lived TV series "Harold Robbins' 'The Survivors'," which co-starred Lana Turner, Kevin McCarthy and perpetually-tanned George Hamilton. Not just the Coke billboard - which, B.T.W., was replaced with the more modern one around November. So I'd say October 1969 at the latest.
I really miss THIS New York, dirty trains and all.

The statue of liberty is still beautiful in 1975.

New York, back in 1974 and 1975, was a violent and rundown city due to it being in debt at the time.
I see Starsky & Hutch and the Harts on the street. Love
Must be at least 1977 because the Citicorp building is visible...
New York City was the best in the in the 1970s!

I was born in 1965 🌞

The clip in Times Square is from 1960s.
What do you have to go by that makes you think it's from the 60s and not the 70s?
@@QueensNativeNYC The Coca Cola billboard. The rest is in 1975.

@@QueensNativeNYC The clip from the Empire State looks like 1977 thanks to the Citicorp Building.
