Rab G. Great footage.Lived in Crichton street for years and then moved to Greenend before moving to Canada Still have a sister in Kirkwood and a brother in Hamilton.Last time home was 3 years ago and still miss it with all my heart
Rab G. Thoroughly enjoyed your dashcam tour of Coatbridge. I must confess it has changed so much that there are few places I recognise. Been away nearly sixty years. It seems to have changed for the better.
Lambertons did employ Roman Catholics, I worked there and remember several. Amazingly, they were just like the Protestants, you couldn't see or smell anything different between the religions, you couldn't i'd them, they were like most other Scots! unreal. Quite sad that Coatbridge is still in the prehistoric times as far as religion goes.
Nice to see Lambertons, (who never employed a catholic) now owned by one!. He employs all faiths and is successful, where as Lambertons didn't and DIED!.
