@@JulieDeru i agree aldues doesn't have everything but its the only store we go i love walmart i want to be healthy i have a habbit of eating snacks theres reasons why sure live your videos😊
Hi Julie! I don't usually comment on videos, but I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved how you are trying to find a balance between budget and health benefits with food. But even more so, I wanted to say how impressed I am by the way you talked about the food and the language you are using. Many of us (I am roughly your age) grew up hearing about "good vs bad" food, or even worse hearing statements like "no, I'm not going to eat that treat, I'm going to BE GOOD". I love the way you use language that references nutritional value, or that something is a fun food, as opposed to just good or bad. You are doing your kids such a service teaching and modelling the importance of nutrition and balance without using language that links it to their value or worth, like was inadvertently done so frequently just one generation back. :) I hope you and your family have a wonderful summer!
Thank you for noticing. I’m definitely not perfect and I’m trying to be conscientious of how I say things. I think it’s about education and knowing the facts.
You’re a good mom to teach your kiddos how to make healthier choices. They will be much healthier and happier while young and grow up to enjoy healthier foods. It will stick with them. 😊😊😊
Hi Julie! Hope you’re hanging in there and doing ok. 🌸 Neat Costco haul! Thanks for talking about that syrup. I will be looking into that. 🌸 Have a great rest of your week. 🌸
Long time viewer from Ireland, love to see you enjoying our butter! Kerrygold is delicious, try it on baked potatoes with a pinch of salt, oh my, its so good, plain and simple. Enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing your life with us.
Good morning, Julie! I hope all is well yur way! You got some goodies! Thanks for sharing!! I sure miss seeing the kids in the video's, i bet they have grown! See ya in the next one! 💙💜💜💙💙💜💜
Goodmorning Julie I have been watching your vlogs since you start. My Mom now watches your vlogs. We love your whole family. Keep up the great job that you do ❤❤❤
Great video Julie. I love that you state the cost at the end. It’s always interesting to me to compare prices in other countries. I would love to see what snacks/cooking videos from you from a fellow large family ❤
Two of my recent Costco finds are the tzatziki dip and avocado salsa. Both in the same refrigerator aisle. To die for! Both are great for veggie dipping.
Try the pack of four Kirkland brand grass-fed butter. It’s a good price, I keep them in the freezer and we use about 2 tbs once a week to put on a bucket of air popped popcorn with salt. Such a better flavor!
It’s really interesting to shopping .. next year ..try growing Socrates cucumbers on your windowsills ( if your cold and windy like me ) I have four plants and cut about 4/5 a day from June 1st to late august
Just need ❤ and better health for myself and a better adventure life away from my birth fam I’m not so lucky with yearly for 36, so please so kindly if you would help me spread my story to the world like this
Hi Julie, thank you so much for sharing your Cotsco haul!! Me and my family are also trying to eat healthier it’s so much better for your health and body!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!💕
Loved your food haul. Right now we have to drive an hour to Costco. They just announced they’re opening one right in my town. I can’t wait as Publix is pretty expensive.
I need to get a Costco membership. With 3 kids, 2 being teenage boys and my gluten allergy Sam's isn't cutting it. That's a great bill for what you got!❤
You aren’t alone in making the food swaps! I feel like we are all waking up to just how much we are being poisoned. It’s hard to change what was completely normal to us growing up
I hope my Costco sells that big box of chips. I really like that brand because they use avocado oil. I buy the big bags at my grocery store. I buy their tortillas & taco shells, too. It’s so hard to eat healthy, and expensive!
My guess was $250! I don’t live near a Costco, because I live in Northwest Arkansas, which means that because it is the home of Walmart, there’s too much competition with Sam’s club :/ I’ve never been to Costco but would love to go sometime!
I must admit i said an expletive when you said the cost. 😄 Food prices here in the UK have gone up so much but its not as steep as US. I wished i could send you KerryGold butter as it's so delicious. Great on crumpets and baked spuds. Yum. 🇬🇧
Hi Julie, I have a question.. how much was the sausage and how many is in the bag? That would be so easy for my husband to fix in the morning before work. Thank you!
I’m always so sad when there are dyes in foods. They don’t need to be there, especially in chips! That’s one I wouldn’t have thought of dyes being in. I’ll have to try that brand of chips sometime!
Not only are the seed oils inflammatory, but they contribute to dementia and can take up to 12 years to leave the body. A good watch on the history and concern over seed oils (which are in nearly everything) is Fat Fiction here on UA-cam.
A few months ago we bought a 1/4 of a cow from a local farmer and keep it in our deep freezer. I will buy chicken as needed but I don’t love frozen chicken.
I actually have a video coming out next week. Basically flour, water, salt, baking soda, mixed and rolled out flat then heated up on the skillet. Similar to tortillas.
Oh the truth in this video! Buying junk is so much cheaper, but what youre paying extra for the good stuff is worth it when it means Healthy fed babies and mama!! You are doing awesome, just wash those strawberries and keep doing what youre doing! I noticed you didn't buy any yogurt or bread, is that because you're making it?! ❤️❤️❤️
This is very much a personal decision but when you start having health issues, pain, feeling tired, gut issues, skin problems, and so on you will know what needs to change.
You can have a desire to be healthy and watch what you eat (read labels and not fall for marketing of “junk food”) without having a disorder. It’s just called healthy living and eating Whole Foods. It’s not a disorder 🤷♀️
Everyone can be having a bad day or afternoon, But her videos can make all of us happy😊
🥹 what a sweet comment. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing your haul. Looks like a lot of yummy stuff. Avacados are definitely a must have at all times.
Totally! I’m so glad my kids like them because they are a super food!

Bahaha, that "sneaky" hand. I'm totally looking for that flour when I go to Costco next.
She thinks she’s so sneaky haha

Agree. And what we grew up with is different than today. There are more additives and chemicals than when I was younger.
That would have been 500 to 600 hundred dollars here in Canada 🇨🇦 for our family of 6. Love these Costco hauls.
Thanks for brightening my day❤ loved the haul!
Spring mix salad can also be cooked in stirfry
That's good to know. I will try it sometime.
The Kerri Gold butter is delicious on corn on the cob

Hi Julie! Can you please tell me how much cottage cheese you eat in the morning pls?!
I use small ramakin dishes so probably a 1/2 cup or so. I usually add things to it and have a slice of toast or bagel with it.
I hope my Costco sells that big box of chips. I really like that brand because they use avocado oil. I buy the big bags at my grocery store. I buy their tortillas & taco shells, too. It’s so hard to eat healthy, and expensive!
True on it being expensive but then I remind myself that I don’t overspend on clothes, knickknacks around the a house. It’s just all about priorities.

The only way I like Brussels Sprouts is roasted. I love them roasted with carrots, squash and potatoes.

Grocery prices are insane. That’s why the Irish butter is a splurge 😄. Now I want to go make crumpets.
Hi Julie, I have a question.. how much was the sausage and how many is in the bag? That would be so easy for my husband to fix in the morning before work. Thank you!
There are about 80 links for around $15 if I remember right
Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed!

It’s crazy how it’s in everything. Europe guidelines are much more strict than the US.
Our Costco in canada would easily be double

You should try making ghee! I feel like that would be up your alley
I just bought some a few months ago. I need to incorporate it more. I did watch a video on how to make it. Maybe one of these days if I use it a lot.
You got off cheap 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I don’t eat nothing healthy I eat a lot of junk food

@@JulieDeru yea I know I’m allergic to fruit and all I need is extra protein
After helping a child recover from an eating disorder, how you describe food sounds so much like orthorexia. 😳

Do some research, dots pretzels are unhealthy
Yes, I know that. I never said that I am 100% eating healthy. I even mentioned that this is something I would normally not buy.
