The actress who plays Nancy honestly does such a good job of portraying seizures. The part before she seized when she was getting ‘an aura’ is exactly what I get and the panic to get somewhere safe before you start seizing is real.
2:09 I actually feel sorry for the actor that plays Nancy it makes me cry that she has her fits. Having epilepsy really is hard so many things u can’t do unless it’s under control, such as driving or riding etc.
I can totally empathize. I hate being epileptic, and it started out of the blue when I was 17 due to stress from A Levels. I was diagnosed with it around 12 years ago now.
I understand that it is stressful my older sister has epilepsy and she has epilepsy she has taken a lot of days off school and college because of it. She hasn't done any exams because of it either.
2:10 awe poor Nancy. I hate my fits too I go on new meds and off old ones to keeping tryna find the one that works 1:17 I’m surprised her phone didn’t break since it fell on the floor with her
Epilepsy can begin at any point in your life, some people can grow out of it too, if you do have an official diagnosis epilepsy and repetitive seizures then yes certain things can trigger them, im not sure if eastenders were trying to show the triggers that can cause a seizure or if they were showing epilepsy awareness and support, either way I think it’s good that they had their audience awared by what impact have on people who suffer from seizures, what precautions are needed before a seizure and that a seizure can happen at any moment in time

Literally she did the right thing to do to move Albie to his cot so he’s safe while she was going to have a seizure
