Mel is still so young .. most men’s careers don’t take off until late 30s so he’s right on track. He did what he needed to do to be there for the babies. Now that they are starting school I am excited to see him build a brand for himself and have his own projects I can imagine how hard that is not having things of your own outside of your family. Both men and women need their own outlets, independence and freedom.
Honestly, as a woman who has worked a full time 9-5 job I can say that being a full time stay at home parent is soo much harder because you don’t “clock out” at 5pm. It’s an ongoing mental/physical load that is particularly hard when your kids are young/babies. Not only that, you’re also maintaining the home etc. Stay at home parents need more recognition and reward imo and is a topic that’s not discussed enough. Also, you both compliment each other really well!
Its so strange how we can praise teachers, school nurses, daycare workers, babysitters but when you decide to sacrifice career doing it all for your kids, suddenly its assumed SAHM do nothing because they're at home. Wild.
I also want to add - Naz you are so blessed to have such a great partner! I just got to the end and am in aw hearing him speak on his decision to get his procedure done!
After listening to Mel on you and your sisters podcast, he really gave me hope that there still are good guys out there especially when he talked about a guy should love and be attracted to a women’s shape and not put you down if he’s a real man for any “imperfections” ❤❤
Part two!! I love these, my man be coming in the room randomly committing on stuff that he hears from the other room. These conversations start good conversations at home as well as them bring us closer in a way. Keep them coming!! ❤️❤️
you guys have have matured so beautifully!! love the honesty rawness and realness life’s isn’t always peaches and cream it’s all about how you manage love that you guys are very self aware!
I gave birth to my first son 1 month before Kavon and now I’m pregnant with twins and I’m like ahhh I’m similar to Naz and I’m binge watching your twin content now 😂 I love sit downs with Mel. I feel like I can relate to you guys a bunch. ❤
Mel giving us more information about the vasectomy was such great information. May you both continue to have many blessings, y’all are so genuine. Love to see it!
A very wholesome honest video. Im 26 in almost a 10 yr relationship with a one yr old and im pregnant and wow hearing your relationship ups and downs gives me hope that our relationship will grow through this phase ❤
I’m loving this conversation, it’s refreshing. I didn’t realize the true dynamics of your relationship and it’s aspiring. My recent relationship didn’t work out and I could have taken some notes from this. But I’m a hopeless romantic so I look forward to having a love like this, and marriage. Idk about the kids yet. I would get my uterus removed if doctors allowed it.
I remember when Mel had his own YT channel for a little while and you could tell how much work he put into it and Naz’s videos. I have loved watching Naz mature and create a family. Seeing her dynamic change has been eye opening since we are the same age. Your love shines and you have such a beautiful family! 🤍
It’s so interesting to see Mel go through what lots of stay at home parents go through. I’m a stay at home Mom but I really felt like having a part time job made me feel more sane. Being a parent is not easy 💕 you guys are doing great though!!
I really appreciate how you guys acknowledge that your lives aren’t ‘normal’ but that you’re still two very normal people living that life. It’s a great balance and you come across very humble & down to earth. Loved this video! Xxx
I love your both personalities and how you interact with each other! I don't really like goofy people, everybody is different and has certain preferences, but honestly goofy is superficial. You two are real and mature and that's the reason I watch your videos :)
This may be tooo personal .. but we never see you interact with Mel’s family/his family around the kids but it’s always your parents. How do you navigate that, and ensure your children are also raised around his culture? It seems one-sided most of the time which is unfortunate :(
I've seen them in videos a couple times. But I don't think they live that close. But they visit sometimes. As the other commenter said, Mel's parents aren't retired.
Love the q&A answers , I’m 35 and married for 11 years and these are things we are still learning. Men should be required to hear MEL! Love it. God bless your union !
I appreciate hearing women like yourself share their feelings about intimacy and sometimes just not being in the mood. Makes me feel a bit more normal honestly. So real when you said sometimes you wonder if you’re asexual for those feelings lols
you guys shed a lot of light in real life relationship and for people to understand that NO RELATIONSHIP IS PERFECT! Thank you both for being so open with your relationship and letting us in. 💜
The 3 kids under 5 is ME! And yes strangers in public always react and give the wildest comments. I ignore them and keep on smiling, I don’t let them affect my energy!’🤣
Oatmeal cream pie is crazyyyyy🤣But honestly, this was an amazing video. You two should absolutely be proud of the partnership you’ve built, it’s so beautiful to witness your love🥺thank you for being an inspiration and showing some of us that we aren’t crazy for wanting this type of relationship💕
These are my faveeee type of vids with you two!! You guys are so funny together and really show what real parenthood is; I appreciate your honesty. Can’t wait for more of these and one with your son would be so cute 😭🥰
At this point I think some people just love to hate on Mel , the continuous bashing on him is simply so unnecessary. Keep your head up Mel. Loved this vid. ❤
I’m so happy for y’all I could cry. 6 years, 2 kids, no ring, in this relationship and I’m still trying to be hopeful that one day I too will have this level of understanding and love filled of a marriage one day. No need to tell me how dumb I am for giving my boyfriend a wife. I know it’s my fault, I’m trying to fix it now okay😢
I love you guys! I’ve definitely felt so bad about not wanting to be intimate every day and have been told my partners never been turn downed by other women and they’ve always initiated it and I’m not really like that and it just makes me feel bad! I love Mel’s perspective, you guys are gonna raise some great sons.
On the topic of women hormones, not even just birth control but being a woman in general. Our menstrual cycle basically lasts a month 😅 so thats why we are so “hormonal” compared to men. We feel differently every week based off what phase of the cycle we are in
Such a beautiful couple that really understands each other so well. Props to you two for all that you do especially to keep your family your main priority. 🙏🏼❤️
So many good topics in this video , I enjoyed watching . I’d definitely love to watch more vids with Naz & Mel just talking about real life things lol. if y’all start a podcast I’d definitely listen to it!❤️
You’re so young!! In your 20’s!! 30’s is young!! It’s how you feel! Stay active and active with your kids. Mel I agree 💯 you’re full of good positive knowledge. I think you should both put each other first and it just runs smoothly in a relationship. Respect! ❤❤
As a single mom of 6 under 10 . I had my first at 21 . I had toxic abusive elationships and let men rush me into stuff. I'm starting my life over at 31. I'm being more adventurous . I pay more attention to red flags..dating has been better for me. I adore you and mel foundation of a relationship and parenthood. Gives me something to be optimistic about about
Makes me sad to hear of Mel’s internal struggles with being a “stay at home dad”. We see the work he does as a dad, and for Naz and the business. As well as his photography and video. We see the value he’s adding in these areas. Mel, you’re killing it, too!!
Also Mel, staying at home is not easy it’s a full time job! We’re all proud of you and still finding your identity through that process and then applying action is admirable! At the end of the day what works for your family, is what works and only you guys know that, and it clearly is working. You both are raising such sweet, kind human beings and still finding time to show love to each other and yourselves. Don’t listen to the haters, they’re just mad and projecting 😂
I love the intimacy discussions, again, so refreshing to hear Mel speak about meaningful connection with ur partner on a deeper level. Please have him back!
Mel is so right marriage is different when it comes to intimacy. Been married 5 years and been together for twelve it’s different. When we were living separately we were ready every time. Now some week we at it some we like sleeping like no tomorrow and we don’t have kids yet. I admire young people who already have their children or child. ❤❤❤❤❤
Oatmeal cream pie, never thought Mel would say that 😂😂😂 I love your relationship and for being so honest and giving great advice, you guys remind me of my relationship with my man so fun!! I would love to see a part 2 that would be nice 😊
Mel is the male version of me. Super chill & mature, if I do say so myself 😅 I’m a Leo though & my husband a cancer😅 we also had a daughter & twin girls 2 years apart. Been together since we were 17, were 32 now 🙃

There is no set age to have a career take off 😅 I mean he’s doing great for his age but you can have a career take off at the age of 50!
Mel is such a good man Naz. At such a young age there is so much maturity between the two of you. Love watching your family. Continued blessings 💛
When she said “I like that Mel’s not goofy I don’t want him to shimmy and jimmy in the back of my videos” 😂😂😂😂 lmfaoo

I’ve been watching you since you lived w your parents , you’ve grown so much naz. so happy for you , you deserve this life sm xo
Intimacy is so personal, there’s no one size fits all. Find what works for you as a couple and communicate as Mel said! You guys are doing great ❤
But Mel honestly has hit some really great points regarding intimacy and the advice given to other men (husbands, fathers etc)
