@@rusu3 Resin takes way longer to refresh tho. Just going to your adventurer handbook that gives you new locations for enemies and fighting them takes less time than a refresh for 1 damn resin. That said, i like the crafting talents cus they save me 20 resin for when im off by only 1 material so i dont have to waste 20 resin to get that 1 material
I think in late game, and as an AR55 player, Expedition talents becomes the worst of all. Because at that point, you're just mindlessly leaving those and just come back the next day. The hour difference becomes insignificant. In early game though yeah it's great

So characters who spend less time away on an expedition was "useful". They changed it because players complain about being force to either lose out on expedition rewards or be unable to use characters who where off on one.
I think they changed it so that f2p players who don't have many characters can still do all the expeditions without being forced to use less characters on their team

I won't go forever, there may be a mega banner event somewhere around October. During the time you may get a chance to pull for every single character. Just my Honkai Impact experience. The banner for each group of characters last for about a week or so, then next batch follows. Or even better, they may allow you to choose the Up character, but this part is just my hope.
That "Childe is gone forevever" is probably the biggest "that didnt age well" I've ever seen in my life. For reference, Tsurumi Island came out around a week before I posted this. You can guess the rest from there.
@@jesserioo4084 eh I don’t really think so, his specialty is Cold Noodles with Mountain Delicacies which should fit perfectly but aside from that and his over abundance of yang energy he doesn’t have any connection to the cold…aside from his Cryo Vision I feel like it’d be better suited to Albedo because of the theory that he’s made of Chalk and therefore does not feel the cold and the fact that he’s stationed in Dragonspine, either Albedo or Eula as when Eula goes to Dragonspine in her story she says how someone of nobility should keep their composure even in the cold, a stretch yeah but it’s better than Chongyun

Sayu has the same talent except with crystalflies Also Yanfei..... not exactly sure what her official one is because she both does the same thing Qiqi does and also has a "can make a special dish" talent that pops up once and a while, so I don't know
all characters (with the exception of the raiden shogun for some reason) have a special dish. qiqi's dish is come and get it, which means when she makes it, she has a possibility of making a signature dish (forgot the name lol) this ability isnt specific to qiqi tho. for example, razor's dish is mondstadt hashbrown. when he makes it, he has a chance of making the puppy paw hashbrown, his signature dish. of course, there are talents like barbara's, which, if you are making a healing dish, might give you an extra dish. or talents like hu tao's, which might give you a suspicious dish (works on any) hope this cleared any confusion up (btw yanfei's talent is finding liyue materials on the minimap, not anything like what aloy or sayu does. however, if you have aloy or sayu in your party, the talent effect applies to the entire party, which may have been why you thought yanfei could do that)

1:32 This used to be the case actually, before 1.1 or 1.2 I believe. when characters were on expidition you couldnt use them, hence why some players still refer to their characters in "the mines" or "collecting rocks" for characters they dont like using, since they would be the ones sent on expeditions to gather ore.
ah yes, the old times, I still don't use characters I send to expeditions though, I feel weird when they are technically somewhere else but with me at the same time lol
ngl the treasure talents are pretty useful. I know I could use an interactive map, but Klee's makes finding those damned mushrooms so much easier lmao. Also, I'm more likely to notice dandelions, valberries, wolfhooks, etc. because they show up on the map, that way I don't have to do a dedicated farming session. I just find that stuff as I go, and now I have hundreds. Ningguang's passive is slightly less useful, as I usually do dedicated crystal farming routes anyway, and the non-crystal ores aren't all that useful.
It really just becomes useful if you have him as a burst damage dealer than main carry since you never really auto attack on supports. The passive on childe is nice for himself though! You can get lvl 7 NA without using boss mats :)

Sucrose's talent isn't better than Albedo's. "Weapon and character ascension" is a different category than "weapon ascension." WAM are the ones from domains, W/CAM are the ones that drop from enemies on the map.
Better to have % chance to get the core ascension material rather than getting an extra slime concentrate... (And having 13% is better than NOT using it, but you need the char of course.)
A bit of nuance: Mona's talent isn't necessarily worse than Albedo's in all cases. If you need to craft two yellow materials and only have 5 purple ones, it's better to use Mona than Albedo. Albedo has a 10% chance to give you the two yellows you need, whereas Mona has a 25% chance to give you an extra purple which will allow you to craft the second yellow material.
Jean's signature dish is a recovery food (mushroom Pizza) and her passive doubles recovery food. she is the only character with a cooking talent that increases their signature dish outside.
all of liyue's character names are in chinese and i've been speaking chinese for 13 yrs so uh here are the englishized pronunciations for reference (btw the "ō" indicates a long "o") liyue: lee-yoo-eh xingqiu: shing-chi-oh beidou: bay-doh chongyun: chōng-yoo-in hu tao: hoo tao keqing: kuh-ching ningguang: ning-goo-ong qiqi: chee-chee xianging: shee-ong-ling xiao: shee-ao xinyan: sheen-yen zhongli: jōng-lee there are some chinese pronunciations that can't really be translated into english pronunciations (like the x and q) so i'd also recommend watching videos on how to pronounce it if you're dedicated or whatever
Both 👌 You can roll on Venti's banner, but if you reach pity and Venti doesn't come home, save it for Childe. Or if your playstyle fits one of them more, roll for that chara. I personally main Childe and Venti works just as a support for me. So consider which one of them would make your gameplay easier and then roll for em :D
ive taken chinese classes for 10 yrs & ongoing, u cant really describe it with english letters but the x is more in between s and sh, closer to s imo and the q is pronounced in between like a ts and ch, its not quite as deep as ch but also not as thin as ts
Some days I log in earlier than others, especially on weekends, which makes it's nice to have the expeditions take less time so I can start them again. I won't log in again later on just to start new expeditions, so it's hardly useless.

Xingqiu is pronounced “sing tsi-oh”. The “q” in mandarin is hard so an easier and closer pronunciation would be “sing ch-oh”. Xinyan is also pronounced “sin-yan”

I always seem to be out of mora but never run out of ores and even if I do need to suddenly get some more even after I've harvested everything in my own world I can just go into another person's world. (I started playing when there was 3 days left on Kokomi's 1st banner right before Childe's 3rd banner)
I mained Rosaria for a while and I always found it frustrating how it only worked at night and only in open world. Like either make it work all the time or make it crazy, like 25% movement and +10% crit; then Rosaria would be so fun.

Xingqiu’s name is pronounced more like to xing-Cho vs Xing-chew. Qiu specifically is pronounced like chee, Like Qiqi, and then an O at the end like ore-Os. I hope this is helpful, I take Chinese lessons, but I’m not fluent. If anyone is fluent, please correct me! ^^ edit: Thank you for the corrections! It's less like Cho and more like Chou, and Xing is like Shing. In the end, though, there are a lot of dialects so pronunciation will vary from person to person, and this is just my opinion. ^^

1:32 This used to be the case actually, before 1.1 or 1.2 I believe. when characters were on expidition you couldnt use them, hence why some players still refer to their characters in "the mines" or "collecting rocks" for characters they dont like using, since they would be the ones sent on expeditions to gather ore.
ah yes, the old times, I still don't use characters I send to expeditions though, I feel weird when they are technically somewhere else but with me at the same time lol

ngl the treasure talents are pretty useful. I know I could use an interactive map, but Klee's makes finding those damned mushrooms so much easier lmao. Also, I'm more likely to notice dandelions, valberries, wolfhooks, etc. because they show up on the map, that way I don't have to do a dedicated farming session. I just find that stuff as I go, and now I have hundreds. Ningguang's passive is slightly less useful, as I usually do dedicated crystal farming routes anyway, and the non-crystal ores aren't all that useful.

"Weapon and character ascension" is a different category than "weapon ascension."
WAM are the ones from domains, W/CAM are the ones that drop from enemies on the map.
Better to have % chance to get the core ascension material rather than getting an extra slime concentrate...
(And having 13% is better than NOT using it, but you need the char of course.)

A bit of nuance: Mona's talent isn't necessarily worse than Albedo's in all cases.
If you need to craft two yellow materials and only have 5 purple ones, it's better to use Mona than Albedo.
Albedo has a 10% chance to give you the two yellows you need, whereas Mona has a 25% chance to give you an extra purple which will allow you to craft the second yellow material.

i would’ve thought xingqiu would be pronounced as sing chew, as another chinese speaker, since for phrases like “不行” it’s pronounced boo-sing and “秋天” it’s chiew-tyen

Xingqiu is pronounced “sing tsi-oh”. The “q” in mandarin is hard so an easier and closer pronunciation would be “sing ch-oh”.
Xinyan is also pronounced “sin-yan”
Shouldnt X in mandarin sound like "sh"? So it should be shin ch-oh. Well technically its not S or SH sound but more in between so good luck tumbling your tongue.

Xingqiu’s name is pronounced more like to xing-Cho vs Xing-chew. Qiu specifically is pronounced like chee, Like Qiqi, and then an O at the end like ore-Os. I hope this is helpful, I take Chinese lessons, but I’m not fluent. If anyone is fluent, please correct me! ^^
edit: Thank you for the corrections! It's less like Cho and more like Chou, and Xing is like Shing. In the end, though, there are a lot of dialects so pronunciation will vary from person to person, and this is just my opinion. ^^
