i would also play that you get the bystander bonus when you rescue them from HQ. Its still a rescue. Nice vid so far! Two handed is great, but if you use advanced solo rules you will still get a chance to cycle the hero deck pretty well and see plenty of cards. Scheme twists in advanced allow you to cycle.

Was the addition of bystander in the heroes deck part of the setup? I have always added bystander to the villain deck and no bad effect of villains escaping?

Yes, for this particular scenario, adding in the bystanders was part of set up.

First and second escape, forgot to KO a hero from HQ. Also, are you keeping rescued bystanders separated for each player? It looks like you might have been putting them in the same stack which would make things tough for you with scheme twists. Noticed you didnt attack Phalanx with three attack. You made a comment that you did not have the class symbol And that is why you did not attack. Not sure if you meant you didn’t think you could attack or if you did not want to KO one of your base heroes. You could attack though and thin deck out.
