We're all living in a candid camera episode but the gag never ends...no one pops out from another room to tell you you've been had.
More like the twilight zone I guess.
Definitely
I always remember Muhammad Ali's answer when the asked him about jokes. "Jokes? There are no jokes, The truth is the funniest joke of all."
@@dirtylemon3379 and we remember Muhammad Ali born as Cassius Marcellus Clay and also a Muslim! We also remember him as having Parkinson’s disease bc of his boxing. We also remember him having being married SEVERAL times and having SEVERAL children! So, what’s your point with that “joke” comment? He made that joke AFTER he was diagnosed with Parkinsons, that should tell you something!
@@BAR55825 he converted to a man made ideology, or fantasy. what's your point...
@@lifelongbachelor3651 and I wasn’t even acknowledging you, so what’s YOUR point Mr Lifelong Bachelor lol, an argument?
I miss the old days. I miss normal.
I agree, although I don’t miss second hand smoke.
Me and you both !!
Define "normal".
@@jbsmokin571 normal is not having people telling you to define normal.
We want the rainbow back by the way.
Me too
He’s as confused back then as much as we are in the 21st century!
you have a co-worker like this?
Lol! So true!
I know I’m NOT confused lol…I KNOW what I am and how I was born, (a biological woman) and there’s absolutely no confusion there whatsoever! Ha Many people (gays and trannies) are the ones who are confused and now there are sooo many of them who are admitting it now, and sadly, it might be too late for some of them.
@@mesofius I used to work a food pantry every 3rd Wednesday of every month. An elderly woman by the name of Darlene had a full mustache that she groomed daily
That beard makes more sense than what's going on now! At least that's straight forward!
2023: The smoking in the office would raise more eyebrows than the beard!
And in 2023 there are many more "women" in the office that can grow a beard.
Alot of people smoked then not a big deal then, really shouldnt be now.
@@claudiajoy4568 Should never be allowed to smoke in the office ever again.

They really thought the beard was real, yet they remained polite and respectful to her.
Watch his eyes move straight to the camera as she tells him he is on camera. I couldn't be 100% this one wasn't acting done by actors.
@@hook-x6f maybe not. Cameras aren't obvious if you're not looking for them. But once pointed out, I bet stand out like a sore thumb.

@@MWorsa old people are dying off! Yeah! I hate stupid old worthless idiots.
@@hook-x6f I agree with you. His mannerisms and looks make me think it was Carroll O’Connor (Archie Bunker). The first guy sure reminds me of Abe Vigoda (Fish) from the Barney Miller show.
It’s the time when people was still reasonable and prone to genuinely smile. No vulgarity required.

If you do this today, the candid star will sue because they'll say they were so traumatized that they could never work again.
Prank Actor: "I can't wait to see this."
The year 2023: "You ain't seen nothing yet."
Yeah, like Paris Olympics.
I shouldn’t have watched this at work. I’m giggling in my cube😅
"Without that beard she'd be a Doll!"
I always loved Fannie Flagg! - her accent, her dry wit, her believability. She was the best! :-)
Love her books. Such fun reading.
that was fannie flag? she looked a little different on match game.
@darkwood777😂
That was quick ad-lib with the beer lol - genius
Pulled that off like a pro. : )
I was thinking the same thing. Good save! LOL
I used to watch this with my family when I was a kid. We used to be creased laughing. Absolutely brilliant. Sending from Liverpool England UK 🇬🇧
I loved watching this show as a child back in the late 50’s or 60’s, It is the funniest and best show ever!
Is it just my perception or things back then were kind of more wholesome and easier?
It feels like it was a better time but maybe its a wrong perception.
I was born in 1997 so I dont know. It feels like if the world was somehow more simple and things had more authenticity
@@Yulia.chandrika. Definitely more wholesome. More religious. You had to go looking for unnatural things. Kids were innocent. Stores were closed on Sundays and it was a very relaxed day. Young people had much more respect for their elders and their country. It was wonderful.
@@LadyCaroline123 well I am from Spain and on Sundays everything is closed still and its a very relaxed day where you eat with your grandparents and family. Respect for elders also is kept here. But the rest, the innocence etc, its kind of lost too 😢
As a family, we tried to never miss an episode
When he said her beard was in full bloom, I lost it!
I never laughed so much.
Loved the video, and a dose of real nostalgia.
these days no one would even think twice about this. just a normal day in the crazy world we have.
This was years ago when people could have fun. And when they understood one something was out of place see this is how normal people react I thought it was funny
The best part, is when the tell them they are on Candid Camera!!😅
Thus truly was Candid Camera GOLD! 😂Loved that show!!
Hello Kathy
How are you doing today?
Above all, the total respect for her was what made it funny.
That lady was in my kids library to read them a story last week
This was cute. Brought back good memories. Think it would have been funnier if when she came back she didn't have the beard on. The other guy would have thought he was nuts.😩
The second guy said oh no its in full bloom lmao. Hilarious 😂
That last guy was slick. I’d like to hear how he turned out, someone’s favorite uncle & grandfather ❤️ Quit witted guy!
I knew I recognized her voice...Fannie Flagg and with a red beard..lol, the guy says her beard was in full bloom and if she didn't have a beard she would be a doll. 😂
Fannie Flagg is brilliant. A national treasure.
I love the facial expressions.
Fannie Flagg is a terrific writer. I have read many of her books. They are so funny.
Hello Kathryn
How are you doing today?
I just read the synopsis to all-girls filling station and it sounds fascinating as hell
Thinking of someone else's feelings. That's why it was so heartlifting & funny. Imagine if this world had the same respect & manners today
Candid Camera Gold: Keep these OLD B/W Episodes Coming! Haven’t seen
them since we were kids. FUNNIER THAN ANYTHING ON TV THESE DAYS!
I thought she was going to turn around the second time and have taken it off to make them think they're crazy.
I miss Candid Camera. It was in a day where most people were respectful. Thank you for your channel:)
I had the same thing happen to me, I went to a job interview and the receptionist had about 20 hairs dangling from her chin, all about 3-5 inches long.
I felt just like those guys!
These old Candid Camera shows bring back such fond childhood memories, sitting around the old black and white TV with my parents, miss those days!🇨🇦😞🥲🤣🤣
This brought back great childhood memories with my dad, oh how I miss him dearly, and watching this show. XO
Love, love, love this old show!!! He’s probably thinking 🤔 maybe hormonal.
What no one realizes is that Candid Camera has been on air the whole time... and we're the targets... 🤣🤣🤣
I remember when I was a kid, watching this show every Sunday night at 10:00 when we got home from church.....What a great show and a great time to be young and alive.
Yep, same here....I went to my grandparents after church and we watched the show, never missed one. I miss those days!
I loved this show as a kid!
Hello Penny
How are you doing today?
The second man was sweetly kind.
The days when you were actually allowed to feel uncomfortable around weird looking people
nah, that's still allowed -- it's why people get uncomfortable every time YOU enter a room 😂
@@virg0_lem0nade Bravo!!
They certainly felt uncomfortable just didn’t say it to her face.

The days when you were allowed your own preferences, your own opinion, your own thoughts without being policed by Communist and facists that are trying to completely rule America. Freaking insanity!!!
Fannie Flagg is even beautiful with a beard.
First guy looked like Danny Thomas (kind of); his double-take was priceless!!!🥸
Really loved this show
Hello Pamela
How are you doing today?
I always used to think actors in old movies were exaggerating. But this guy talks and acts exactly like them! I guess those movies were more realistic than I knew. I kind of wish we still had characters like this around.
The lady looks like Fannie Flag , she use to be on morning show in my hometown when I was a young!
Lets be honest - who would not be surprised? A perfect sketch!
I cherish the memories of the whole family sitting to watch shows like this. It's heartbreaking what our cultures have "evolved" into.
I loved Candid Camera! Forgot how cool it was!
That was so funny . That man who changed beard into beer should work for the government he is such a good liar.
I Love love loved this show❤ reminds me of my Father he didn’t laugh much but he did when we watched this how together!
Social media has ruined the world.
I watched Candid Camera as a child here in Aotearoa/ NewZealand. Absolutely loved it. I do miss the innocent fun it was. I'm sure that first man was looking around for the camera too. That second man was hilarious and really sweet that he still thought she would be a doll. Lol. 😂
Our family used to reliably watch this show. But I don't recall this one. Perhaps because I went into the Navy in 1966 and might have been in boot camp or a later Navy school. I think these were when TV was overall at its best. A lot of great entertainment without having to be mean or crude or crass.
I think that was Fannie Flagg in the beard. Classic, honest, clean, fun good humor. Miss the old tines. Funny show!
This is pure gold ✨✨✨
Wow! I forgot all about this great show, cool! 😄
Absolutely gold.
I was hoping to see her return without the beard after he said to the other guy wait until she comes back, you’ll see.
That's what I thought they would do.
Love Fannie Flagg
The good old days when respect went a long way if I could go back in time that’s the period I would live in.
Had a good laugh, thanks!
Hello Sharon
How are you doing today?
Today these pranked men would be eviscerated for reacting the way they have... they would be blamed and cancel cultured for "assuming" there was anything "wrong" with a beard on a "woman". We have to act totally natural, today, when confronted with the most incredible new "truths" about gender and society.
We are all living in Candid Camera today, but it ain't no joke anymore.
It ain’t no joke! You got that right.

That was the highlight of week night tv.
I watched this show with my late mother back in the early 1970’s . I can still hear her laughing at the gags that I was too young to understand. But we grew up knowing to watch out, because you never know if a candid camera is rolling. Brilliant show.
That's some good acting!!!! Oh I would not be anle to do that!!!! Thats just too funny THANK YOUUUU 💞 ♥️
Well we could never predict 2023 ,and that's the normal thing now 😅😊
They foresaw 2023 in 1966.
Loved Fannie Flagg
Remember watching Candid Camera when I was a teen. We need it back now to brighten up this world!
I loved this show growing up. It was funny. The lady with the broom was my favorite. The world is too jaded now for this simple comedy.
We do love Fannie in Alabama!
Fannie is loved everywhere. She is a great Alabama girl
Watching this in 2023. Nowadays you wouldn't even blink at this.
The guys face at 2.45 is priceless
That was some show, used to watch and laugh my head off😂😂 miss sitting the living room with windows and doors open! God blessed now I’m 68 old.
Wow!!!! Niether of these two were biologists , yet they knew what a woman is.
Yes and it takes less than a second to identify one
Our senate doesn’t….
The most down to earth and funny gags on people who were just as funny as the cast of candid camera 👍
Omg I love this! The reactions were hilarious
DOUBLE TAKE GOLD
Fannie Flagg's best bit was when she was a firefighter!
I was on that episode! I got caught on CC when an axe crashed through the wall and she ran in shouting “Fire!”shooting a fire extinguisher into the waste paper basket! I almost jumped out of my skin! She was very sweet afterward and I was thrilled when I got a postcard informing me of the date it would air on TV! A fun experience.
Great ! Old is gold proofs this episode ! Excellent mannerism in the olden days !!!!
Wow what trip down memory lane
I must have been about five when I would watch these candid camera programs on the old black and white TV
The program was hugely popular in Australia as well
I still remember the opening theme

Goodness, the expressions on the delivery guys faces are beyond price! When turned it around "Beard? No, I said beer".
I so very well remember my entire family sitting in the living room and howling with laughter at Candid Camera. The premise for the skits were clever and the camera work was superb. But the show could only have been as funny as filmed with the people of New York City.
Priceless. Laughing so hard.
I am pretty sure the bearded lady is Fannie Flagg. I know her from The Match Game.
That was great. It had me thinking that this show was kind iof like our UA-cam before the interwebs...
