My question is to Victor, & seeking his advice, I am 41 years old, I am 5.9, my current weight is 65KG I use to compete in bodybuilding shows in classic physique weight category 75kg furthermore I am having 4 meals a day plus protein shake I am low on carbs and high on protein, working out 5 days a week, 6th day only cardio 40 minutes & 7th day It’s off day completely, my concern is I want to bulk again but I need to bulk clean with clean mass without increasing my body fat & to make sure that my face & abdominal doesn’t get bloated, what would you suggest what do I need to do how many meals I should have when I am clean bulking and what gear would be great for clean bulking & how many days I should workout, and as per my height what should be my ideal weight as I am done with competing, Thank you Victor & Generation Iron, Huge big Fan from Dubai, this is the only bodybuilding channel that I watch and enjoy and it’s the only channel that have educated me a lot in terms of gaining experience in bodybuilding, you guys are awesome, be healthy be safe.
Hey guys, I have a question about not getting a pump! I'm 72 years old, 6' 1", and I can no longer get a pump when I train. I started training seriously about 3 1/2 years ago, when I was 68, on a progressive routine, one body part a day with 3 days on and one day off, and have made significant gains in strength and size I went from a tired 212 to a solid 250 lbs. I have tried over a dozen pump supplements, stim, and non-stim pre-workout drinks, several No2 products, and even a low dose of Viagra and none have helped with a pump. I also tried high rep low weight and medium rep with heavier weight. I was getting great pumps up to about 2 years ago then all of a sudden nothing. I'm currently on TRT and daily Cialis 5MG and do get regular blood work done and even take a baby aspirin daily. It's not that I train for the pump and I know you don't need a pump to grow because I'm still growing and getting stronger but I MISS THE PUMP. Could this be due to my age If so you guys are not going to like getting older. My passion for bodybuilding training is off the charts but a pump every now and then would be the icing on the cake. Thanks!
PS I do 2 warmup sets, 2 working sets ( usually 8 to 10 reps ) to failure, and 1 drop set also to failure. 3 exercises per body part 1 body part per workout

14:55 You can definitely do curls with kettlebells. As well as triceps extensions, chest presses, shoulder presses, rows. The majority of the movements that you with dumbells can be performed also with kettlebells.

the comment on nicotine is so false. Nicotine itself as a drug is not bad for you, it is good for you. Obviously it is addictive, but then with that being said, there is even conversation that it is not addicting rather habit forming because other substances in the tobacco products make it so addictive
it is not addictive. smoke inhalation is bad. modern cigarettes have more chemical poisons than tobacco. chemical fire. see bryan ardis. these guys are clueless meat heads.
Great show, as always...thanks. Yup...Genetics is everything In my opinion. I was smoking cigarettes and partied. Like a dummy..not proud. since the age of 12 years old. Just stopped smoking (Camels non filter) at age 51..now 56..57 in May. I was into running...haha...ran an average of 4 miles a day. Of course, I did feel it slow me down, but I kept going. Oh well...no excuses. Then I started to lift weights at 20 and have been consistent ever since. SWOOOOL FOR LIFE:)

Fasted Cardio, weigh your meals and stick to a diet plan
Nicotine without smoking is actually neuro protective and can help increase attention and focus. So pretty good. It’s also found in energy drinks over in Japan
The question on weight gain and lifting heavier for lower is reps is BS, train hard and eat more food

I taught Victor everything I forgot. Nicotine is a very powerful neural cognitive drug. Good for brain but it is also a vassal constrictor so not great for training. I do 3 reps for a 100 sets.
the anti inflammatory effects seem to impair recovery for me when i experimented with nicotine
Question for Vic: I was having a debate not too long ago on the subject of plant base in Bodybuilding. One made the argument you can add size just being plant base examples giving when you look at certain animals like Gorillas, cows etc.. who are Herbivores and they have massive size because plants can provide the most Protein, but I’m of the belief for humans we have to have the balance of Meat/protein, Vegetables, & Plants/Herbs. Nevertheless I would like your take/advice from a professional as yourself and the cast of Fellas, do you think it’s possible for an individual to add Olympian Size Mass & Muscle just being Plant Based without incorporating meat? I’m interested in y’all responses. Thanks Vic & Fellas
I’ll just make one quick comment. Anyone who makes the comment about cows or gorillas as the counterpoint have no clue what they are talking about. Google how a cows stomach works. Their bodies are literally made differently. It would be like saying humans should live underwater because sharks do and they thrive and sharks and humans both breathe so they are the same. That’s how absurd that example is.
I’m not directing that at you, just saying anyone using that as their argument is being totally silly.

Higher rep ranges Great for pump you can do like a warm up with 20 or 30 reps of lighter weight or a burn out at the end with a bit lighter weight focus on contraction and squeeze, also sodium could be low or blood sugar both can affect pump, punch of bakin soda does wonders sometimes good luck bro!
