Would totally play a literal "Bayonetta Origin story" where you play as Balder and Rosa, and the plot is pretty much how they met. Point is, I want a game to play as Balder!
We barely get any information on the lumen sages, so it would be cool to see more of them. If they do make a game like that then I hope they allow Balder and Rosa to have some different weapons as they can only use the holy glaive and unforgiven respectively.
@@pyronable ikr? Like Sages and Witches didn't meet at random, only the elders usually met at solar eclipses to make diplomatic agreements, but that was about it. Since both Balder and Rose were said to be exeptionally talented prospects, my proposal is that they were the chosen to be next in line to inherit the Eyes of the World and the Elders took them to diplomatic meetings as part of their succession mentoring and that's how they met.
@@pyronable I'm usually against prequel stories for entire games, but the Lumen Sages and Umbra Witches really need fleshing out. I guess, just like Sparda in the DMC series, the devs need the Sages and Witches to be as vague as possible each game, so they can use them however they want in the next game.
Because of the new multiverse lore, hope we get to see Lumen Sages back in the franchise. Maybe a new antagonist Lumen group or rival in Bayo 4 or 5. In my opinion, Lumen Sages and demon slaves are what make Bayonetta more ambitious and varied in nature than DMC, which lacks angels or fully devoted light users. Those who read The Divine Comedy are aware of why Paradiso's angels and its allies are the more intimidating and badass reality in Bayonetta, so it's always a welcome bonus to play as one of them.

Only in Tag Climax mode, you can unlock him by playing random matches till he challenges you or you can unlock him for 3 million in the chapter "Where the two meet" I think but search a tutoriak

I feel like a big missing opportunity of Bayo 3 was a Lumen Sage Bayo, (and a male Bayo).

Had no idea Balder and Rodin were playable.
They were playable in the tag team vs mode where you'd fight angels or bosses and whoever got the most combo points won

It's been a long time coming. Now, the Bayonetta series is complete unless Bayonetta 3 adds a DLC character like Balder or Loki.
