Thank you for Katie for the video! I painted something with shimmer shots and then used butterfly fields for the background And I got too close to the shimmer shots and the paint ran. Am I supposed to varnish the paint before using the glitter whips?

I just do a quick spray of rustoleum matte 2x. Don't worry about the shine going away it will come back when you seal.
