Omg, I loved this. I knew you would find and pick bargains. Love the notebook!!! I think Tom might "borrow" that Ralph Lauren Shirt... I got a black Zara dress for £1.00. I had someone follow me in the shop ( I assume waiting for me to put it back.. as if. Lol) More thrifting please! Loved this Freya !!!
Love your videos Freya. I’ve not been in a charity shop since last year before the pandemic so you’ve inspired me to go again. Lovely things you’ve got. 🥰
Hi Freya. I can’t tell you how envious I am watching your charity shop haul. We don’t have charity shops here in Greece and so I used to rely on seasonal charity bazaars. Sadly, those have ceased now too since Covid so this video made me feel very nostalgic and I’ll be sure to bring an extra large suitcase whenever I next come over to England! 💖🌸🌷
@@FreyaFarrington Sadly,no. Many of my most unusual and loved pieces have come from vintage stores or charity shops in the U.K. Unfortunately, it was only the bazaars which provided the opportunity to purchase second hand items here in Greece and many of them were run by ex pats who were more sympathetic to the philosophy of pre owned pieces.🙁💖
I consider myself a professional when it comes to charity shops, I managed to pick up a pair of unworn nude heels for £1, originally Mango…..so far I’ve only had to spend £7 on plasters 😂😂😂 fab vlog Freya! I live in Frodsham, they have some quite good ones, and I sometimes head to Knutsford and Alderley Edge as I think that they’re more affluent so the quality of what they give away amazes me!! 😂
Love the bits you found, was intrigued by the Warburton crumpet slippers, shame you didn’t show them 😂😂😂 the charity shop had some great items. I think I definitely would have picked up a few bits ❤️xx
Hello Freya and first I must congratulate you on reaching 80K subscribers and I see that your nearly at 500 videos and nearly at 11 million views and very good video thanks on your visits to the the charity shops as I remember watching previous videos of that kind some time ago when you were living in Burnley as I’m well aware of the stigma of charity shops though from my experiences they seem to have got things more organised and my family provide goods for the British heart foundation and where I live in southwest London I’m a short bus ride from three locations that has loads of charity shops and I’ve done a bit of part time voluntary work for the cats protection charity also it’s amazing to see and hear of your new house in Cheadle and I’m a carpenter so I’ll watch the progress of construction also I’ve visited Stockport years ago to watch Tooting and Mitcham Utd FC at edgley park and it’s great to see your new dog Barney the golden retriever as I love all animals and nature though I’m more of a cat person so thanks for reading take care stay safe and cheerio
Hi Freya! That brie baker was a unique find. Never knew there was such a thing, but then again I don't eat much brie (even though I love it.) Lol 😄 Also love the books, which I'm sure would look great in your new kitchen. Always interesting to see what unique things you'll find in thrift shops. Thanks for sharing. Much love from Fort Worth, Texas! 😊🍞🌞
Im prob one of many who does enjoy these thrifting vlogs, you can get some great one offs plus its recycling rather than keep buying from the top high st stores. Keep doing them!!👍👍😃
Omg..freya u was literally on my local high street..they are the shops I'm always in shopping for goodies. Wish I'd of seen you🙂 They have just changed the British heart foundation shop into a vintage shop..in cheadle. And I love the pdsa charity shop aswell further up the road.👍xxx
Can’t beat a good charity shop haul, those that say things like it’s dirty etc or they’d never wear someone else clothes, I wonder if they ever buy or borrow from friends. Can’t believe that David Bailey book was in Oxfam, on my list of books to get that and loved that vintage Ralph shirt, not seen that jeans label for years, ( you said it right 1st time I was taught, I was in the high end menswear for 27/8 years)
Yes it can have some good bargins a antiques roadshow show had a woman who found a pair of would you believe chopard diamond and gold earrings for 50p and they was worth 10,000 yes i think it can get musty in those shops but i heard parasites are rife from used clothes so i was recommended to use a disingectant and hot cycle just be on the safe side.❤
What a treat to watch Freya, I loved seeing what was in the shops, spent a lot in my head as there were so many lovely things, I love what you got, I thought you might buy the top at 5.05mins it was pretty, I adored the Charles Dickens set, so pleasing on the eye and so many others I spotted, you did well, please do more, and so happy you are supporting many charities a win win 😊 Also I love the fact you always reply, so many don't ❤️😘x
Yayyyy, charity hauls are back! Ohhhh, love that Bread book 💓
