Spoiler alert: I love how the ending for both films just ended up being Lau Ching Wan losing and then Benz Hui just starts berating him. But in all seriousness, I love Johnnie To’s work. This may not the strongest of Johnnie To films out there but he definitely showcases his technical prowess and storytelling charms with these 2 films.
