    Non-typical content. Good video quality. When we see you we also see the tank and the back tv (with shrimp). Good info on the buce. I've just started growing mine (first time keeper of buce). Thanks for the video. Subscribed and liked.

      Hello Harold, as always thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, I'm here to serve you! Yes it is called cryptocoryne undulata red its been growing beautifully now i trim it regularly and it lost a ton of color but it used to be fire red Im building a crypt only shallow tank it going to be insane!! The one at 16:22 is coral moss or riccardia moss, its grown a ton and it looks beautiful i added new inhabitants and they completely detached it from the rock, ill upload that video on monday or tuesday! I hope you can find the inspation you need from my tank! if you have any questions you know i'm here for anything! Thanks for watching and for the good vibes i really appreciate it!! I just bought my first buce, too, and have no idea what kind they are. I have mixed luck with all my plants, but this video gives me hope. Pet Smart has a new line of immersed buce tied to a mesh base. One store near me stocks them inside their tanks rather than the plastic cup they came in. These are really healthy... hoping I can keep it that way!!

      Hello, thanks for taking the time to comment, I'm sorry for the late response, I do actually, I like to set it up at RED 60% BLUE 50% to 60% and GREEN 15% TO 20%, I have it like this with a distance of about 15 cm to the surface with a depth of 30 cm to the bottom of the tank although most of the plants are almost at surface level now, ill post an update soon!, for a deep tank like 40-50cm deep i had it RED 100% BLUE 90 to 100% GREEN 20 to 40%, also had carpeting plants and crypts, on a only or mostly epiphyte tank i would not go over 60% on either channel, buce love light but with high quality light like Chihiros for example, intensity can be dimmed and get those amazing colors! Good luck my friend please let me know if you need some more info on anything! greetings from Mexico and thanks for your support!!

    i have noticed the same thing about size of leaf, its really interesting. can you make video on how to make buce color more prominent, mine is growing with really good color, but idk why, or what is triggering it. i have my buce for 6 months. great video!

      Hello, thanks so much for taking the time to comment, i've had a difficult time making videos and editing and all, but im working in a full update on the setups and working on my schedule, definitely will talk about that subject in the next update, i don't know if i have a definite answer but my thoughts rely on overall health of the plant and high quality light with medium or high intensity but i know that some mineral foods are definitely improving the colors over time! let me know how is your buce doing right now and i hope they get more stunning everyday! Thank you for supporting the channel i really appreciate it and i will work harder to keep the channel up to date! greetings from Mexico!

    I have heard kh affects purple colors of buce. is this true?

    • @Aqualibriumx
      @Aqualibriumx  5 місяців тому +1

      Hello my friend! It mostly do! I’m sure some species would adapt to different conditions but usually a lower kh and good lightning co2 will help the plant process the nutrients better giving you better colors, if they are losing their color and your kh is high like +5 could be the reason why basically they are not eating properly and not growing properly either!

    • @Aqualibriumx
      @Aqualibriumx  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Lukas, certainly i can help you with that, have you tested your water for phosphates? also iron excess is another promoter, co2 without proper light and nutrient regime also promotes bba, too much flow with co2 also helps it develop, please send me a DM @aqualibriumx and i will help you figure it out, i had the same issue but controlled it after some research and time, also dosing seachem excel everyday helped me to get it under control! feel free to comment here if you don't do instagram!
