I had a question. If I buy your GRE Prep book. Will it be accurate? Considering the new changes. I downloaded a kindle sample and read a little. It mentioned the duration of the exam as 4 hours which has been reduced now. Kindly let me know if your book is still a good option to study for GRE.
the maths section you mentioned only 4 topics ..are those the only maths topics for the new gre?
These are the question types, but GRE tests a variety of topics. We go more in-depth in this blog post: magoosh.com/gre/gre-math-review/
Does this test have negative marking in 2024 ?
How much cost of 6 mock test of gre?
It depends on which ones! Our practice tests are part of the Magoosh platform (which you can trial for free!). ETS also offers 2 free official tests, plus more for purchase.
Is a 329 a great score on the new GRE?
ETS encourages schools to evaluate old/new GRE scores the same, so 329 is still very high! But also be sure to check the percentiles of Verbal vs. Quant.
@MagooshGRE
Thanks, but how important are the percentiles? I've heard some people tell me not to worry about it because business programs are only worried about the raw score versus some people telling me that it's a deal but not a big deal. I've had people tell me that their percentiles have changed since taking the exam some time ago. Can you shed some light on all of this? Thanks
We did an interview series with b-school adcoms on how they evaluate test scores, would recommend watching it! But essentially, it's just one piece of the admissions puzzle. Percentiles are how they compare scores from different years or old vs. new test formats. ua-cam.com/video/6CTS44b_c1k/v-deo.htmlsi=17BUZkne4eucJwYC
