Great work. Quick question. Why not just print the design directly to the Easisubli, cut it out with the Cricut, then just press it onto the shirt? Is there a benefit of doing it this way?
I have a video printing directly onto the EasySubli. Some have issues with printing directly onto the EasySubli. So, this is for them. I printed this as an 8.25 x 8.25. That is too large for the print then cut setting on the cricut. You are limited to 9.25 x 6.75. So, this is also an option for those who might want to print larger images. Thanks for watching!

I want to go on record as to say you are a LIFE SAVER! I have been doing HTV for a few months now and I just bought my epson 2720 to begin doing Sublimation. I have searched hundreds (literally) videos, joined several FB groups to answer what you just showed me. I’ve had people telling me you can’t sub on black or cotton at all and those saying use the “poly crylic spray” but it’s a hit or miss. All in all I have been getting mixed messages, but you’ve answered my question and I really thank you for going step by step and not skipping forward just for the sake of “time” now I know what to do and I’ll be on the search for Easy subli and mask. Usefull video, i'n still searching the right printing technology for printing white colors on black t-shirts, i have one black tshirt that is printed with white color and is so smooth that you even didnt feel the print

Hi so glad I found your channel. I have watched a few and they are all different. I want to make sure I am understanding the pressing process. Are you pressing the easy subli on its own first at 365 degrees for 10 seconds, and then putting the artwork on top of it and again press at 365 degrees but then do it for 40 seconds? I read somewhere that to tack it on the shirt first to use a low temp.

Vinyl can't be pressed into shirts and does not require heat. HTV is for fabric and requires heat.

I’ve been trying easy subli but for some reason my red looks orange on the easy subli. I’ve had it bleed red onto my cotton surrounding it (just using a junk shirt to test things on). The same graphic appears red on polyester and tumblers. It’s only orange when using the easy subli. I’ve tried the method you use in the video and also printing directly only the easy subli. Same result; red looks orange. Any suggestions?

This is GREATTTTT… just a quick question. Which paper are you using for the white cut on from the cricut? I have the a sub sublimation paper but the white background is what I need. Is that the honesty spinking? From the link?
The white vinyl is Easy Subli…that’s what the cricut cut.
Can I use the easy subli, create the cut image, don’t mirror, cut shiny side down, weed, place mask on top, peel off backing, press as normal…….can I then just print my design onto A sub paper and just lay the paper on the easy subli? Won’t this eliminate having to print and cut the design using the subli mask? I’m new, still learning ;)
Also for cricut, did you have to convert into SVG from Adobe? I haven't figured how to do that yet. I have to recreate everything because my I pad doesn't save....
I saved it as a png file in Adobe so that I could use it in Design Space.

If the design has text do you mirror to sub onto the easy subli? I wanna try this method. Ive been printong onto the easy sub directly and it is sub parr color wise. This might be a better way.
yes, mirror the printed image. Don't mirror the Easy Subli.
I am new and trying to learn. Did you print that on regular paper and then place it on the sub paper? I made one shirt and it didn't turn out the way I thought but I printed right on the sub paper.

I reduce the temp to 315-320 and press for 20 seconds.
how is this in a wash i heard it cracks especially in the dryer and if it does good in a wash how should i wash and dry it. thank you so much.
I was and dry it and none of my shirts have cracked or faded.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. I don't have a scan n cut...but I heard the process is very similar.
Do you have to cut the printed picture completely right or can I just semi cut it , heat it and then left up the paper?
You can semi cut it and align it with the Subli.
Do you not have to use the mask that comes with the easy subli? when I weeded my design there was no clear backing like you show,

You can use regular transfer paper without the easy Subli mask.

Overheating will it damaged???
No. As long as the temp is under 320, you’re good. I’ve done it several times. It doesn’t cause the color to fade either. I haven’t tried it with temps above 320.

You can even just duplicate the print then cut for the same shape/size.
So, I bought a sawgrass printer. Okay, I'm a little confused. Do I have to use Siser easy subli htv if I have polyester shirts? Or I can use sublimation paper?
Easy Subli is only for cotton or dark colors. You sublimate light colored polyester shirts the regular way. Print your image on sublimation paper and press. No need for the Easy Subli.

Thanks! I haven't tried other brands with this. However, another heat resistant transfer tape might work.

Can you not leave the mask on the vinyl while on the heat press, pull off then put sub paper on top then?
the backing of the subli where the adhesive is. You can use the Subli Mask as a transfer tape to do it that way.

My Epson 2750 Always Gets Jammed When I Use The Easy Subli paper is it just my printer or have you had this issue if so is there a way around this problem?
I've only printed from my 15000 with it. I usually print on sub paper and then press into the easy subli when using the 2750. I've heard of others who have issues printing directly onto it. It's both the paper and printer. Technically, Easy Subli was specifically made for Sawgrass printers.
