Hello, is it not possible to just simply use a bigger transfer paper to print on? Or is this method used due to the lack of a bigger size adhesive paper?

I think the models since (xxx to i550) doesn't works with over a4.

A4 is the max size that will come out of the 550 so that is why you'd need to do this.

You shouldn't have to do this with the 800, it is able to print larger images.

Most times it does not, some packages might. It does come with Pro RIP which allows you to setup the printing but not splitting the images
