They took this video from a press kit, basically. This isn't *their* footage, so it is a little misleading to those who don't know. ^^ Hope that helps~
If they could just make the mounts animate and handle as well as Guild Wars 2's... this could easily dethrone just about everything else on the market.
I really hope they allow to adjust the character any time after the initial creation. Because this is what killed the Tower of Fantasy for me: I spent some time to create my character, started the game, but after a couple of jumps I realize I wanted to change a few details. Nope, can't do that! Have to stick with it until you get some in-game currency to pay! This was not the only reason I don't play ToF anymore, but this was the moment that changed my point of view, kinda like took off my heart-shaped glasses. I would much prefer that the game removes parts or all of my armor when I redesign the character, or makes you pay to smith for re-adjusting the pieces for your new body shape, but just simply lock you out right at the beginning is not the way to go.
You get a LOT of vouchers a bit later on all for free that you can use to change whatever you'd like about your character at a whim aside from their gender! I returned to the game last month and been having a good time so far and I've changed my appearance.. well, a 'fair' number of times, let's just say.. LOL

Wherever you are now in the story you can skip to Vera and you’ll have access to what we were discussing. Aesperia storyline is pretty bad and the devs know it, so they enabled players to skip to 2.0 almost instantly.

@@XerxesBreakSamaconsole is fine but for an mmo of this quality and scale, ipad is a yikes. If you wanted to run this you would need to drop fps to 15 and quality to 360p in order not to burn your ipad out. And at 15fps you’d actively be inting your entire party in both dps and dodging stuff
@@revanxiii4976 genshin was able to adjust its resolution to various platforms. and of course gaming consoles and well equipped PCs will give a more satisfying resolution than mobile devices. however, not all are too keen about such and are satisfied with mobile devices coz they get to play anywhere at anytime so long that they have internet connection. this is one of the reasons why genshin became quite attractive even for those who are busy with work like me. I play it in my pc, ps5 and ipadpro.
@@XerxesBreakSama Genshin is optimized for 4 players max. This is an mmorpg that can have way more players in one zone. Tower of Fantasy is a good example of what you would need to downscale for your phone/tablet to not overheat in an mmo setting and it isn’t good
why, every time an anime styled game released they always emphasize on huge map with barely anything inside. except grass and distance mountain. it looked cool but a huge map with nothing inside is definitely a letdown. take a note from genshin, their map is not that huge, but they densely packed and their recent region added included huge, i mean HUUGE verticality exploration with multiple layer of explorable map.
The world is really nice in this game! However the character models and battles looks kinda dull. Running animations and camera angle makes it worse. Would be nice if they had some kind of exploration activities, more than arena-like battles.

I would prefer characters not so heavily armored. They all lack head piece (which is understandable but pretty much makes the armor irrelevant realistically speaking), and at the same time the armor hides their body lines and makes them look really heavy. I much prefer fantasy armor that refine the body lines and makes the character prettier. This kind of armor will not work properly anyway (just look at these gaps!), so you don't need to stick to realistically looking pieces.

I'm worried about this game. Visually it looks good and checks all the weeb boxes. However I heard it's F2P so I imagine its going to have some like Bot Ark progression mechanic, and to make matters worse it's another AGS (Amazon) published game. Now LA was a shit show and I'm doubtful they can straighten things out in this game. Might be worth getting a VPN and trying to be on Japan's servers..
This better not be all the guy hair options, half of the longer hair styles make him look like a mop, as usual customization is clearly better on the other side but then again nearly everyone makes their character female. Incase ur wondering i was hoping to make hyakkimaru from dororo 😔

Feels like a bunch of robots. There's no character voices? No personality. Very stiff combat. Very unattractive outfits. Environments look great. But not seeing much to get excited about tbh. I'll withhold final judgement until playing or seeing more obviously. But i'm sure it's going to be another heavily walled, restrictive cash grab of a f2p game.
