- Former President Jacob Zuma is addressing his supporters in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal.
This as the Constitutional Court has agreed to hear his application to have his 15-month jail sentence rescinded.
Zuma was sentenced for contempt by the Apex Court after he ignored directives that he continues testifying at the State Capture Commission.
The Concourt will hear his application on Monday, the 12th of July.

They never sent anyone to make that statement and that includes Mangosuthu `Buthelezi. They feel like there is a misconception that was pushed by Mangosuthu that whenever people are wearing amabutho attire, it means they've been sent by indlunkulu, but it is not so as Umgiliji went there of his own accord to support one of theirs and did not go there as induna yasendlunkulu. This spells out that mangosuthu made the statement of his own accord and was not sent by abantwana.

The arguments don't hold water. It is not about persecution. All the former president had to do was to appear before the Court. Then he can say what he wants or cry even about his persecution at that forum. By ridiculing the Court outside before the public and politicizing issues he instead presented an arrogance the Apex Court could not entertain. Remember that his actions become a precedent for others to follow (read Ace) and no Court can allow this to happen, otherwise the judiciary then fails to serve the people with the Constitutional independence given it.

It's quite amazing how Advocate Dali Mpofu has so many bombs under his sleeve as he takes up the Judiciary head on. Some people didn't have a goodnight honestly seeing the boldness Msholozi has. We're still going to see the Judiciary squaring up against itself. It's most apparent that Ramaphosa is trying to screw all the Comrades just as it's said he was betraying them during Apartheid era even up to amassing the Millions in his bank accounts now. Zuma may not be learned but he's not stupid. He was of course captured by the Guptas but Zondo's refusal to recuse himself from this 'case' leaves a lot to be desired. How can this matter go back to High Court when the discussion is a Constitutional Court judgement? This is the very problem, High Court, Supreme Court of Appeal was skipped and Zondo took it directly to ConCourt.
