Fantastic job. I have also created an arcade in my basement. Nowhere near as nice as this and only 1/4 the size. But there is one thing missing from your arcade and my arcade that really gives it the true feel........People. ....Its a real bummer when I go down there and no one is there but me. So I came up with a great idea. I could get a bunch of mannequins, dress them up in 80s clothes and place them at each machine. they could have wheels on their feet so if you wanted to play that game , just wheel them aside. Needless to say my wife was not thrilled with the idea and is now looking into my sanity. LOL
Holy smokes Steve, five years past by already since the last comment was left and it was mine. I always loved the Tempest, I hope you get another one some day.
@@thebasementarcade That's amazing you're able to do that, and found so many of them too. I used to have two genuine arcade machines in Double Dragon II (which I used as my Jamma cabinet), and Punch-Out!!, which I had both that, and S.P.O. in, until I sold them after I got my Mame machine. You definitely have one hell of an amazing collection for certain also!
@@thebasementarcade Very nice. I definitely both appreciate and admire the dedication you sure put into this hobby, and sure have one of the best collections out there like few other too.
One home arcader to another -- this inspires me to keep on collecting and keep on working on my collection. Thanks so much for putting this up, dude! Absolutely outstanding room and arcade game collection.
+Retro Game Lounge Thank you. This was a 10 year process, as opposed to some who may think I threw a wad of cash at this. One game at a time, one sign or decoration at a time. Just keeping the dream alive!
***** Right on brother. Can't argue with that. I'm only sitting at 10 machines right now that I've collected over the past 3 years. So many on my list though. I'm sure you of all people can understand that :)
Back in the EARLY 80's I would always go to the MALL and play video games in "SLUGGOS" That game room had about the same number of games you have. Awesome memories of fun times in the SMOKE of that room. People smoked like a stack in that place!
Back in the day when you could smoke INSIDE shopping malls! Now a lot of them give you shit if you dare so much as do so outside it seems now! (L.O.L.!)
I need a best friend like you, so I can come over all the time and just sleep in that room. I'll piss in bottles, get food delivered at all times, and have random people come over to play the games. LOL
Wow...incredibly well done! Thanks so much for sharing. Much of my time as a teen(class of 84) was spent in arcades. Such fond memories...great basement!!!
I would probably live in this room. The ambiance alone is mind calming to me. You really really did a fantastic job here. And I love the fact that you found an old school 80's Pepsi machine.
Fantastic! Would really like to see what it looks like with the overhead pot lights turned off. For small apartment people like me MAME cabinets are all I have room for at the moment. People like you keep the dream alive for so many of us. :)
This is the reason Jeremy why we collect. For you it’s classic at arcade games. For me it is Star Trek. But the outcome is the same watching the appreciation and enjoyment of others on what we have collected
Hey man, I want to say something here. I'm an extremely, extremely nostalgic person, and I live for 80's movies and video games, and anything that has to do with arcades. What you've done here is nothing less than a work of art, and I honestly almost started to cry when I saw how well you designed this place. I know I sound theatrical and dramatic, but it just really hits a nerve. Honestly man, you really, really did an outstanding job here. It's just so nice.
Mate, you won life. That is even better than most commercial arcades from back in the day
I could watch this over and over.
Great Soundtrack(Blue Monday)! I liked it, Thanks.
This... does put a smile on my face
Heck, if I had a set up like this, I'd never leave the house! :D
I swear my mouth was open through the whole video. Oh, and, TI99/4A REPRESENT! Nice work, man. 👍🏼
Star Wars, Spy Hunter & Air Hockey = Drooling on myself
I like arcade game 👾🕹😲😁🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A child of the 80s.
Amazing

WOW!!!
Nice!

You win.
The dislikes are people who can’t have a arcade
How much did one of those machines cost?

This one is from 2017. The latest arcade walk thru is here ua-cam.com/video/4Am6nKiwyqY/v-deo.html
Damn you must be loaded! Wonder how you keep all of these games up, and running too?
I buy them cheap and fix/repair them. That's how I get them reasonably priced and keep them running.

How much did it cost? $120,000?
Total price tag? How much is admission? : )
How many money did you speend all of those games
Not really how it worked out. Been buying these games broken and fixing them up 1 at a time over the last 20 years.
All you need is a McDonald's and you'd be like Richie Rich
How can people dislike this? This is awesome!! Love it!!!!
Jealousy is a terrible thing lol. It iz Epic!!!
This is my heaven! New Order, Tempest, Spy Hunter, Punch Out and Electric bumper Poole? It doesn’t get ANY better than that! State law!
Damn your electricity bill must be ungodly
To me the nicest home setup I've ever seen to date. Very neat & clean, you utilized every square inch to the maximum. Very impressive man!!

Man, I could stay here for DAYS!!!! how has a case of nostalgia when they watched this video?
New Order. Nice. This made me pine for my younger years. Truly spectacular world you created down there.
One of those places you just wouldn't want to leave, sure brought back the good ol´ days.

Unreal gameroom! I don't know what impresses me more, the actual games or the actual feel of the gameroom. It's like you're offiically recreated 1985!
To say "awesome", would be an understatement! 😮

Omg that vintage Pepsi machine at the end. Wave of the 1980's coming back to me!
What made this legit for me was the carpet on the pole. That right there man.
Best home arcade! Good job
I love that 80's feel. Nice
This is extremely AWESOME!

Steve; This is seriously one of the best basement arcades I have ever seen. I don't have the floor room you have or even the games you have.
Bless you my brother😃
