    Loved your latest video. Can't comment because it's set to kids.

      Ugh, I thought that setting just meant that the video was kid friendly. Had no idea it completely disabled commenting! Changing now...
      And thanks for the feedback on the video!! Glad you liked it :)

    Nice video and thanks for giving us a glimpse behind the scenes. I wonder if you had to choose one Sarracenia to grow on a deserted island, which would you choose?

      Thanks Davin! And that's a great question about the Sarracenia I'd choose if I could only grow one...hmmm, I think it'd have to be one of the colorful and large S. x mooreis that are in the collection. I really like Leah Wilkerson but I'd probably go with something like S. x Saurus or one of its siblings that all get large and very red.

    Nice! Thanks for the peak Matt & Leah! Looking forward to seeing the new greenhouse! Will keep my eyes open for new offerings on the website. My AJ01 and Ntombi have been dormant since mid October. Still doing well. Happy holidays!

      Hey Tommy! Thanks for the comment and update on the plants!! We should have some new offerings next year, both in terms of flytraps and Sarracenia. Looking forward to offering some more incredible plants 😀

    heated greenhouse ? If my traps and pitcher make it this winter in my unheated small greenhouse I will add to them with some of the beauties you sell. the dormancy requirement freak me out about NA pitchers and traps.

      saw the heater at the end.

      Yes, it is heated but I think it only ran about 10 days total last winter. We keep the thermostat set at 35 and on sunny days it gets up over 90F in the greenhouse which means it doesn't usually drop below 40 unless it is super cold.
      Depending on where you live, an unheated greenhouse should offer enough protection is most of the US to overwinter flytraps and Sarracenia.

    Any recommendations for a perlite brand? I am in California.

      @MattMillerFlytrapStore Рік тому +1

      As long as it isn't enriched, like Miracle-Gro brand, any brand of perlite is pretty much equivalent. Here in the midwest the brand we can source is PVP industries. I think out west there is a different brand that is more commonly found.
