The director(crew?) said that it's because Japanese people back then doesn't express their love in the obvious way like kissing & stuff. They might do it privately but not publicly. So they were trying to keep that part realistic

It's been 8 years and I haven't since watched this film franchise on television nor it was released in play movies that time.Forget about watching , I never ever heard of it . So sad I couldn't watch this movie in my home nation.

I love this Anime, one of my favorite since I was a child, One of my Ultimate Crush since I was a kid, Kenshin Himura. I love Takeru Satoh, and Emi is my 1st fave Japanese actress, One Ok Rock is My favorite Japanese band. I love Kenshin and I just finished the 3 live movies and manga last week, (I also done with the anime a long time ago) and waiting for the new volumes of Hokkaido Arc, and the 2 movies next year. 😍😍❤❤
Just a week ago, I watched Accented Cinema's brilliant video essay on the first three films. Coincidentally, just a couple or so days ago, Netflix released all three and their exclusive final film centring around the Trust and Betrayal story in South Africa. I finished all four films early this morning. It was amazing. Update: I finished The Beginning a couple of months or so ago. It destroyed me. I also keep going to that scene in the 3rd film with Seijuro about the will to live, as well as the scene with Kaoru after Kenshin was released from jail. The Beginning, made Origins a strangely more emotional experience for me.
Tomoe is Kenshin's first love and the only woman in his dark past. Kaoru is the woman who changed him. And a new breath in his new life. Definitely the endgame❤

Japanese interprets can do that.. mix a mostly english song with japanese though (and have them sing that) will sound horrible. Same with any other language mix. For some reason, this only works with japanese songs. :'D

Rourouni kenshin was my introduction to manga. I still wasn’t ready for the last scene with Tomoe in the beginning. Once I saw the snow falling all those feelings started to come back
This reminds me of katanagatari for some reason. Yes i know, Togame... isn't there.. or at least doesnt have the same hair color. But the scar on shichika's face is placed differently and his outfit is pretty much the same as the anime. AHH! I LOVE IT. Even if it's not based on katanagatari it still makes me happy.

I love this Anime, one of my favorite since I was a child, One of my Ultimate Crush since I was a kid, Kenshin Himura. I love Takeru Satoh, and Emi is my 1st fave Japanese actress, One Ok Rock is My favorite Japanese band. I love Kenshin and I just finished the 3 live movies and manga last week, (I also done with the anime a long time ago) and waiting for the new volumes of Hokkaido Arc, and the 2 movies next year. 😍😍❤❤

Just a week ago, I watched Accented Cinema's brilliant video essay on the first three films. Coincidentally, just a couple or so days ago, Netflix released all three and their exclusive final film centring around the Trust and Betrayal story in South Africa.
I finished all four films early this morning. It was amazing.
Update: I finished The Beginning a couple of months or so ago. It destroyed me.
I also keep going to that scene in the 3rd film with Seijuro about the will to live, as well as the scene with Kaoru after Kenshin was released from jail. The Beginning, made Origins a strangely more emotional experience for me.

Japanese interprets can do that.. mix a mostly english song with japanese though (and have them sing that) will sound horrible. Same with any other language mix. For some reason, this only works with japanese songs. :'D

i watched the anime when i was a kid , about 15 years ago or more i cant remember exactly. I know One ok rock for about 5 years now but ive come to know this song just kinda recently. Rourouni kenshin was my introduction to manga. I still wasn’t ready for the last scene with Tomoe in the beginning. Once I saw the snow falling all those feelings started to come back
Kenshin misses Tomoe His first love, but she died because of him and then he finds Kaoru who's very similar to his first love, Tomoe. (Heartache)

This reminds me of katanagatari for some reason. Yes i know, Togame... isn't there.. or at least doesnt have the same hair color. But the scar on shichika's face is placed differently and his outfit is pretty much the same as the anime. AHH! I LOVE IT. Even if it's not based on katanagatari it still makes me happy.
