I was at that show! For sure one of the best shows I have been to and I have been to a ton. Every band absolutely nailed it...I couldn't believe how good this guy's voice was live...Insane amounts of vocal control.

whats impressive to me isnt just that he's got good english pronunciation (lots of people have that, though i know its not that common in japan), but that he has good rockstar english pronunciation. being good at speaking is one thing, but knowing how to use your voice well in a song like this, in a foreign language, is really impressive.

Honestly, what I love about this song is that it's distinctly a rock song, there's no denying that with the chorus they made, but it also has that radio friendly, mainstream sounding verses that are easy to get into and flow beautifully into their rock sound. This is truly a brilliant song and should get much more recognition, and soon

ONE OK ROCK is my favourite band for this reason, they aren’t afraid to talk. They aren’t afraid to put up music on topics that aren’t spoke about as much as they need to be. They deserve the followers, views, and so much more. The music they made helped me, and still does. This could be an opening for the olympics, and honestly I’d love it if they do.

One Ok Rock was supposed to collab with Linkin Park before Chester committed suicide (literally they were scheduled to tour together in Japan that November), and at their farewell concert to him Taka (Takahiro Moriuchi, the lead singer) came out to sing Somewhere I Belong in just pure raw emotion. His energy and performance was so close to Chester you can only imagine how amazing that collaboration would have been between these two would have been in the same song.

Just found our Ed Sheeran was part of the production of this song and even coached Taka on the opening and chorus melodies. It's a great song and I'm amazed by the effort put into it by One OK Rock and Ed.

I was like, "AND PEOPLE CALL THIS GUY A GREAT SONGWRITER????" Like, haven't he heard of the writing techniques called "repetition?" Like anaphora, epiphora, etc. He's far from the best. He just got lucky he got discovered.

Just saw them in Atlanta for the second time. The crowd went wild singing this with Taka! The crowd was also made up of A LOT of new fans given the long chants for an encore. Taka came out basically 'WTF? You guys weren't like this last time (before COVID). It's amazing to see so many new fans'
